Upgrade Benchmade 940 Pocket Clip for Deep Carry (Black Oxide Coating)

Not sure why but this #BM940 does not come with a default deep carry pocket clip. I had to call Benchmade customer service (833-557-2526) to order one. #Benchmade used to give it out for free but they told me that people been abusing the system so now they charge $5 for a clip. If the clip come standard with your knife then its free under their service and warranty. If you want to get a clip that is not the default clip then there will be a $5 charge.
I opt to get the standard deep carry #PocketClip in "Black Oxide" finish. The BO coating isn't paint and should chip off like previous painted clip. I also got the shorter deep carry version that comes on the Bugout series in case I want to try it on my #Benchmade940

You made the right decision I had the bug out clip it’s too short I lost it three times sitting in my car, the stock one is much better but I’m gonna go with the one you have because it’s deeper but yet long,

The clip that comes with it is better for hard use. No hotspots for me. With the Deep carry-hotspots. Ugh

Dude... my osborne came with loctite pre applied to the screws... can't get them out for the life of me 🤦🏼‍♂

Loctite doesn't like heat too much, Don't know about the knife handles you'd like to try that on, but if the handle is not made of plastic you'll be good to go my friend !
