We’re still dealing with the fallout from that. Yes… we didn’t enter a recession but we have to pay the piper for it. Literally, the inflation rate is a direct measure of how much money we print. If you double the money supply, you’ve effectively doubled prices - but it takes years for that to actually work through the system. All of the decisions affecting today’s prices were made several years ago. You’re just now seeing the effects. Next time you hear about the government printing money, then understand that this is guaranteed to be the next several years.

Ah yes, nothing to do with the import tarrifs the Trump admin created, that skyrocketed material costs across the board. Oh no, not that. Or the increased tax burden on the middle class to pay for the permanent tax breaks for the top 5% or anything. Or the fact inflation is down significantly, or the fact these companies are posting record, RECORD, profits quarter after quarter and telling you fools that it's inflation. Oh no, not any of that. They tend to run out of actual stories since those tend to fall flat, like the Biden impeachment witness admitting to lying, or the stock market doing better than anticipated, or gas prices leveling out outside of an election year...
