This video confirms that the horizon-hobby cub s can accommodate an s1 lipo HV 4.35v 550 mah battery. This will work well for FPV as the smaller batteries will struggle to provide the current necessary.
Thank you James. I recently bought a Sport Cub and it's great EXCEPT very short flight times. I'd like to increase it and bought a 550mah E-Flite battery; however, it will require a little widening of the battery slot and an adaptor for the connector. What I received is a UM battery with a larger connector. Could you please clarify exactly what you put on each end of your short little adaptor cable? Is the stock Sport Cub S2 connector a "jst"?
