Amazing performance at elimination chamber (runner up as well) not to mention she eliminated Bianca and Tiffany, runner up in the battle royal to crown new women’s heavyweight champ. Amazing performance there as well. Finally winning the championship from Becky and sending her into “early retirement”, “injuring Rhea Ripley”, best storyline with Dominick, the judgment day and Rhea asides from CM Punk and Drew, great character work, turning heel, good title defense again Zelina on raw, steel cage match with Becky.
2023 was the best year of all time to me and it’s because in 2023 that’s when I technically started watching even though I started watching 2021 but 2023 was the most important year to me so I thought it was the best

My holy shit moment had to be when Rock made his surprise appearance on Raw - March 25th (might be wrong date - Chicago. Prior to 2024, My Dad and I weren't as close due to me just growing up and being busy with school. On January, we saw that Royal Rumble was live on Peacock and watched it for nostalgia (I used to be a huge WWE fan when i was younger). After that, we both got into wrestling again and he surprised me with two tickets to see Raw live in Chicago. We joked around about getting to see Rock because he was my favorite wrestler growing up and we wanted to see the "Final Boss" form irl. Since it was said he was coming to next Raws show, I was trying to lower his expectations so he wouldnt be disappointed (Mind you this was the 2nd to last raw before wrestlemania). The reaction we both had when we heard The Rocks theme was hillarious 😂. I will never forget that moment because it holds a special place in my heart. My dad and I are still laughing at the screams we made that night 😂

For me my holy shit moment might be recentincy bias but the destruction of paul Heyman it was something I never thought I see especially at his age
I also said “HOLY SHIT” when Taker’s gong hit. The list is a great mix of moments too though. Cena’s entrance was also amazing, Cody pinning Roman, Punk attacking Drew & Damien’s cash in, Bron’s attack on Ricochet filled with legitimately concerning spots, Bayley getting back on top, Punk’s promo on Drew at the draft, Jade’s debut, Jordynne Grace, Joe Hendry, Rhea’s return, poaching Ethan Page from AEW was underrated, Drew’s attack on Punk, Chad Gable heel turn, Sami pinning Gunther, Debut of Tama Tonga, Debut of Jacob Fatu, “Roman isnt coming back”, “You are NOT MY TRIBAL CHIEF!” followed by the triple powerbomb on the announcers desk, the double german to Bronson and Sami in the triple threat IC match with, Tiffy in the Bank, frankly the entire women’s MITB match, Trick losing the belt after KOing Page, and my personal winner the Wyatt’s debut.
God Trip has been cooking this year! Now imagine, we will probably get the returns of Roman, Becky, Asuka, Charlotte, Jimmy, & Carmella all this year. This is such a great time for wrestling!
