    For those who don’t know: When you click add a title and your image is on the desktop, you can drag and drop it into the title window. Dvd Flick also works great with imgburn software installed. It saves process time.

    I usually prefer spoken to written tutorials but I found this step by step written one, to be so straightforward and helpful. In fact I used it to set up 'DVD Flick' and successfully burn a video to a DVD for the first time! So thank you for making things easy to follow!

      @@easytechguides Thanks for that! That is interesting! Do you have any comments to make as to the quality of the end product! Is there any appreciable difference in using one method over the other? DVD Flick has one disadvantage, which others have also pointed out, and that I was prepared for! That is, if you do copies where people are either singing or speaking their lips are slightly out of sync

    Hello, I just tried it and it worked. The only issue is that the movie played only about 8 minutes instead of 2 hours and a half on my DVD player😅 Movie is 800MB and the disc is 4.7GB with 120 minutes. I checked the bar on the left side of the DVD Flick (idk what it's called) before burning it's only 98% so I thought it would work just fine. Do I need to lower the bitrate or something? Please reply🙏

I also choosed variable Bitrate to fit the DVD. Now I have a 4.7 GB image that doesn't fit on a DVD-R. This application just wasted my time and power.

      How old is your DVD burner drive?

    • @easytechguides
      @easytechguides  Před 6 lety

      It could be your DVD burner drive or the DVD. Try a burner cleaning disc (the type with the little brushes on a disc) and I don't know which DVD you use, but there's a difference in quality in DVDs, so you might need to try a better quality DVD (e.g. Verbatim, Sony, Philips, Maxell). Maybe your DVD burner drive also needs a firmware update.

    • @EvolveDragonfly
      @EvolveDragonfly Před 6 lety

      I used a Verbatim DVD+R, but it didn't occur to me that the drive might be old. It's at least as old as the computer which is coming up on 7 years old I think. First time I've used it as well. After like 9 hours of errors I just hit cancel on whatever it was doing and popped it out. Tried out the DVD in a different computer and it played without a menu, but not sure if it will work in a true DVD player. I'll also try out the other tips. Thanks!

      It can take a long time. The time it takes depends on the program, your computer's hardware and the size of the video file. If you want a faster solution then I recommend using a paid program like ConvertXtoDVD. I've created a tutorial page with more methods here: www.easytechguides.com/burn-videos-to-dvd.html

      An ISO image is a disk image of an optical disc. In other words, it is an archive file that contains everything that would be written to an optical disc, sector by sector, including the optical disc file system.

      ISO image is a term commonly associated with CD and DVD burning. An ISO image (or .ISO file) is a computer file that is an exact copy of an existing file system. An ISO can contain the entire contents of a CD-ROM disc or CD medium.

    it compressed the shit out of my video clip, it lost all the resolution, is there a way for it to preserve the original quality?

      There will always be quality loss when converting videos. But it also depends on the software you use and the settings you use. You could try the method of my newer video: czcams.com/video/1bkFTRP7Vx8/video.html and see if that gives better results. Or you can try the methods on my page: www.easytechguides.com/burn-videos-to-dvd.html
