Sean, thank you so much for covering Sam Stone. John Prine was an incredibly talented and humble person. He's the reason I became a songwriter and started a band. I also covered songs like Sam Stone and Paradise. I cried the day he died. Cried my fucking eyes out. My wife didn't understand how I could feel that way about someone I've never met. I showed her John singing Clay Pidgeons and she understood. I wanted to visit him in the hospital similar to how Dylan allegedly visited Guthrie in the hospital, but the hospital wouldn't allow visitors. I still tear up thinking about how I missed two opportunities I had to see him but didn't. I won't make the same mistake with you! Now come to STL so I can show you where all the best spots to skate are!! :) Thank you Sean.
