Love the ignorance people have about anxiety and depression.
Accusing her of having no motivation but not being able to pick up the phone to make an appointment to see a dr.
It's all part of the illness.
We know what we should be doing, but it's that lack of motivation that can keep us from doing what is best for us.
If anyone here suffers with sleep paralysis & sleep demon (shadow man) I have a remedy. I suffered from this for almost 20 years and haven't had an episode in 10. This was per-internet, so it wasn't suggestive nor did I have the means to know how to handle it. I was attacked most nights with the longest period of not being attacked was 1 week. The last time it happened I was so terrified I was finally able to scream and I yelled for Gods help. It worked instantly and I was thrown back to my bed. Hasn't happened again. If this is just a sleep disorder then why have I not even had 1 night of sleep paralysis ever again?
True.. I had suffered for long as a kid.. I never understood at that time what it was, but was terrified.
Prayers helped me out of this I can say now as it has been very long since I had another episode🙏
The acting in this movie was the most TERRIFYING PART !😮

I don't think it's even good. I have watched a lot of "scary" movies and I know people don't like this movie. The actors themselves look like they don't understand their own character. Their acting didn't meet the desired expectations of the audiences. They just simply didn't able to play their own characters properly and correctly. It's like a burger without a cheese. The story maybe is good enough but the actors in the movie ain't, unfortunately.

This was a very well made movie imho. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the actors were. I found myself not being jumpy after the 1st guy though. The way the thing jumped back into the room made my blood run cold but after the doctor was taken it seemed to all easy off with this Demon thing. She didn't have a very big roll in the film afterwards for me. The sound from the ring brought back some memories though. LOL
Very good film anyways. Well done to the ppl involved. It was very well put together. Shame it ended the way it did. It was almost as if something great was left on the cutting room floor if u know what I mean. They ended the storyline too quickly. I don't really get what happened but I guess it leaves this open for another one from these guys though..

Ok I will say this movie HAD potential but it all came crashing down because you never get to know what happened to anyone, and the end absolutely was like are you kidding me it felt like it ended in the middle of the movie just when I thought it was getting interesting what a disappointment, I'm left feeling like someone just shut the movie off right when it was getting fairly good sheesh!

I get it..why these people experience sleep paralysis & scary things is that they have the deepest fear that they are the ones who scare themselves..they create everything in their mind that seems scary such as, movement of the door, dark environment, being alone, etc. which all are not true in reality when the Doctor wakes them up..they are the ones who makes all things scary, so they need to overcome their fears. in my opinion, is that this conjuring movie is a psychological awareness for fearful people.
