Yeah it always irks me when people don't realize they had an album before Throwing Copper. Mental Jewelry is such a great album. I still listen to it regularly, start to finish.

No question! That’s some wild funk from Borneo or whatlike, man! This song needs to be resurrected to prove to kids these days that rock ‘n’ roll could make you want to move. Kids criticise rock by saying you can’t dance to it, and I grew up in the 80s and 90s and I say, ‘Well that’s absolutely whoresshit… Maybe it’s true if the only dances you know are The Twerk and the Dry-Humpin’, for which you need something basic, stupid, plodding, four-on-the-floor BUM-tss, BUHBUMBUM-tss… bullshit. I used to listen to stuff like this and get nutty, man; You come to one of my acid parties when I were 16-18 yrs old, and you’d see some mad, loony fuckin dance moves you’d NEVER seen ANYWHERE before, because back then it was all about being free, and movin whatever way the music moved you. Nobody except obsessive compulsive and the chronically shy were lookin around to see whether anybody else where dancing like them.
Late 80s-1995 was a great time for underground music. And alternative nightclubs.

The song and the crowd didn’t vibe, and I love Live
Saw these guys when I was in high school. They never mention this performance in the documentary, only all the bands that revved up the crowd in a negative way i.e. Fred douchebag Durst. It must have been hot as shit on that tarmac. Glad I never went, looked like a total shitshow. That's what happens when money is involved. But this band sounds, and always will be, beautiful.
