Commenting after hearing about the actual bs you’ve been dealing with. I’ve only just found your channel and I can’t believe the complete bs CZcams is putting you through by basically killing your videos. You’ve inspired me to start my Japanese learning journey. I was searching for a video where someone learns Japanese and then just goes to Japan and speaks it, and your video came up. Didn’t expect to see such a high quality video. You’re amazing and this has been such a big motivator. Love your humour too 😂 I hope CZcams stops being so obstructive and you can publish these videos without the fear of demonetisation(?) as I will be following you from now on. Immediate subscriber here 👍 Thank you for all your hard work in creating these videos for us to enjoy! It’s very much appreciated and I’m actually in disbelief as to how you don’t have more subscribers! These videos need to be seen!
At first i saw your character drawing like "Ooh this is interesting" and then you came up with the 3d scene and i was "Holy moly this is very well created"😳 Very great video man, keep it up
I feel like the focus around the escape room kills how actually fun this video is Like, I clicked on this video because I watched your most recent video about how YT mishandled this video, but I think escape rooms are kind of lame. Surprisingly, however, this video was about you meeting up with your Japanese friends and going on an absolute banger of an adventure Since most of us dream about going to Japan, hanging out with Japanese people, and actually using the language, I think you could highly benefit on advertising that aspect of these videos. Especially since you're already including that content in them anyways. Or, maybe just make it clear it the title that this is a series (e.g., "Japan Pt 2" or something)
When this video first released it was actually more focused around my friends. But I found out that CZcams decided to auto tag my video as "role-playing game" and "action-adventure game" so I had no choice but to lean full into the escape room.
I follow your channel for quite a while so I always sort of hoped for it to happen, but just as much as all the others here in the comments, I'm hoping the algorithm does it's job properly... The quality of your videos is always on a constant rise, and this one, while I haven't finished the video yet, is a delight to watch アルゴリズムさん、仕事をして! edit: also thanks for a good game recommendation, never heard of Warlander before
Welcome back! I remember reading your comments before! As always, thank you for watching and commenting, glad you enjoyed the video! PS. the algo in JP is just アルゴリズム 😉 PPS. Warlander is pretty hard if you're solo, the only reason I reached the top was cuz I had these guys guiding me 😂

@@KimberlyJho-ann Thank you very much! To think that a few years ago I had comments saying stuff like "Only at 3K subs!? What's going on" and now seeing 30K show up- that's already such a huge jump and I really appreciate it ☺️😄

I really enjoyed the way you did story telling on this, with those drawings, and on this video you took it on a whole another level with 3D?! It felt like a whole movie on its own. I recently got into Mahjong Soul so I came from your Mahjong tutorials and it felt like digging for gold but finding diamonds, this is an underrated channel and I wish you all the best for your future as a content creator.
Amazing video! Sorry to see that CZcams messed up with how it's recommending it to others. Hope for the best. I went back and re-watched a bunch of your videos in a row to try to help, with a like on all of them.
I've been learning Japanese for 10 years and I've never had the chance to go, I was supposed to study abroad in 2020 with my gf, but covid had other plans for us... your channel has definitely been inspiring, I've definitely had trouble in the past using anki due to burnout (and undiagnosed adhd as I came to find out last year), I plan to rededicate myself to getting serious about learning japanese once more
just watched this and other videos from your channel and I just want to say. This is AMAZING. Please continue uploading, I've never enjoyed watching stuff like this before, but watching these videos has me glued. I'm enthralled watching, as I will be heading over to Japan this summer, and getting to see your experience only excites me more. Keep up the good work!!!!!!!! Edit: when i first found out how little subs you have I was shocked. Fr man you deserve any and all success you get.
Commenting to boost this vid. But seriously, it's pure bull shit that YT decided to fuck this video over. Bro I know words are cheap but, honestly from the heart, I truly appreciate the incomprehensible amount of love and care you put into making this vid. Your vids literally got me out of my rut for learning Japanese. You helped me get my plans and goals together, so i I can actually start, and continue to learn it as a part of my life. And your videos like this just ooze the care and craft you put into them. I don't want to see your hard work being treated like this either. I genuinely enjoyed this vid, and it was awesome to see you and your friends have fun and just enjoy yourselves. So honestly, thank you for your hard work. I hope you can continue what you love, no matter what bs comes up. Try to make sure not to push yourself too much, as your work ethic and quality are insane as I've seen so many times in your vids. And I hope you find it in you to prevent this from discouraging you. Especially from doing what you love or want to do. Take care of yourself well man, the best thing you can do for your work is to take care of you. We'll get past this, YT CAN'T and will not keep you down forever, I know it.
Thank you very much! It really means a lot to me to hear that I've helped motivate so people to get back into learning Japanese and get after their goals. Your encouraging words have really reached me and I sincerely thank you for this. Comments like these are how I'm able to keep my head up! ありがとうございます!

wait this was 2 days ago. thats so cool. i think youtube algorithim is working because ive been researching videos about japan and how to meet people and it showed me this in my recommended. Im going to japan in the future and I wanna have my own 2 friends to meet with 😢.
That's awesome to hear! This video got off to a really bad start and it's currently fighting for survival against the algorithm. Really happy to hear you enjoyed the video and thanks for writing a comment!
Looks like the algorithm now works as I've discovered your channel out of nowhere (I'm mainly random checking japanese language short vids and ended up here). I hope that one day, I can speak as fluent as you!
Really enjoy your videos. Also you are quite prolific to be able to produce such high quality content while learning Japanese while dominating the player base of some video game while traveling. I can't imagine how you get it all done lol
The most, or really, the ONLY truly tense escape room story I've ever heard. I totally thought that guy was a real guy sitting in the chair and was imagining how freaked out I would feel to be trapped alone in the room with that guy who only speaks a language I'm not native in. Glad he wasn't real. If I'd been in that escape room we'd have all died though.
I think you already got this mentioned by others here in the comments, but damn your videos are hella nice edited and overall just super fun to watch! Algorithmさん pls do your work and let others see this underrated channel.
The fact that none of that was planned and that we randomly stumbled upon it really made it stick as one of the most memorable events of the entire trip. I'm so glad to have met these friends so that we could enjoy this together, there's literally no other way I would've stumbled upon this and made this memory otherwise 😇
Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for the comment! I wonder if me using the Danganronpa music was the reason it reminded you of Zero Escape since they're both developed by Spike Chunsoft 😂😂
This video was really enjoyable. As always, channel underrated as f... I mean extremely underrated. Can't wait for the 3rd part!! マジで楽しみ過ぎるww also tryna bump up the algorithm because of what happened, I really hope this gets fixed🙏🙏🙏
Don't stress, you'll have 500k subs in a couple years and this video will have 250K-500K views. Just keep creating :D I'm "studying" 中文 so always nice to come across learner videos of any type of language.
Nice video! Got it recommended by a friend, would not have noticed it if he did not since it was not shown to me by youtube even through i am subscribed and have the "bell" activated. Weird ...
Thank you very much! 😭 The entire time making this I just felt so thankful that I'm able to make this videos and share my story, and also so thankful I was able to meet these friends and spend such a fun time with them. Just so many things to be thankful about and I'm so happy people are finding this motivating 😇
Why was this video recommended for me after a Final Fantasy video? This is why you should turn of autoplay. But to comment on the video really nice editing. Just a shame that i am not the person for it.
THIS is exactly what I'm talking about 😭 I was wondering why this video was underperforming and called up CZcams support. Turns out CZcams is literally against me and is recommending this video to COMPLETELY UNRELATED other videos. (See here for proof: imgur.com/a/UjMqg6i) Thank you for leaving a comment here anyway, really appreciate it!
I'm not learning Japanese, but I really enjoy your content maybe I can apply your experience on another language, and also keep going your content is amazing I know that you will blow up soon :)
Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed the video even though you're not studying Japanese! For sure I'm hope this video was able to motivate you so you can experience the joy of making friends in the language you're studying too! 😁
I didn't know about the "luck scale" thing from the Omikuji. I've had mine on the fridge for over a year and didn't bother checking what I got lol. Turns out it was 吉, not bad haha.
Not bad! Another interesting thing about Omikuji is that they used to only give bad luck in the past. This is because Omikuji were less like "here's your luck", but instead "here's the dangers you should avoid". Eventually the monks and priests figured out that people like playing this luck game more and added good luck to attract more visitors. Now everybody gets to have fun with it!
I think CZcams algorithm's getting its sh*t together by recommending this vid to me. I've just found your channel, but I already learned more Japanese in one day than I ever did in the past. Sorry, I can't join your membership or subscribe to you on Patreon. Still, I'm looking forward to more of your content! I really love the way you edit your videos and they're really helpful.
It's quite a hard game if you're playing solo, so it's really a good idea to make some friends with the pros to get a good win rate. Tbh if your Japanese is good enough to have a normal conversation (and you have the confidence to try it), joining the Warlander Discord JP side and asking for a pro to team up with you and teach you could be possible. I'd just recommend getting to gold rank or something first so you at least know the basics 😂

So the funny thing is- I'd put it in the video if the Killer was actually like right outside our room when we left... But he wasn't. He wasn't even down the corridor?? And then we went back to the lobby and there WASNT EVEN A SINGLE STAFF IN SIGHT???? Maybe that staff that jumpscared me twice was getting changed LMAO We just left before he had the chance tho 😂😂
This channel was created for the purpose of documenting myself learning from day 1, and you can see a recap of the whole first year here: czcams.com/video/Jp92ZHyR_rw/video.html . Just a FYI, spent 15 years growing up in Hong Kong and learning Chinese and still can't read Chinese at all. I literally failed to learn a language despite being taught it in school and living in the country for 15 years straight. . So if someone like me who has NEGATIVE TALENT in language learning can get to this level in Japanese in 3 years without having ever gone to Japan a single time until now, you definitely can too. Check out the other videos on my channel to find out how I did it!
How do you earn money to travel Japan or even move to japan? Are you working in Japan already or are you just a tourist? I mean you learn Japanese right? Just for fun or with the intention to move to Japan forever one day? Japan is expensive country to live.
As for the money, I simply worked at an office for several years and saved up all the money. I work for a Japanese company but can work from home, so I don't technically "work in Japan". This channel is technically "work" for me too so this was technically a work trip. I started learned Japanese with the intention of watching anime and vtubers without subs only. Now I'm considering maybe moving over one day. Unsure what you're comparing cheap/expensive to live to, because Japan is definitely cheaper to live in than HK 🤪

It’s very much appreciated and I’m actually in disbelief as to how you don’t have more subscribers! These videos need to be seen!
At first i saw your character drawing like "Ooh this is interesting" and then you came up with the 3d scene and i was "Holy moly this is very well created"😳
Very great video man, keep it up
I feel like the focus around the escape room kills how actually fun this video is
Like, I clicked on this video because I watched your most recent video about how YT mishandled this video, but I think escape rooms are kind of lame. Surprisingly, however, this video was about you meeting up with your Japanese friends and going on an absolute banger of an adventure
Since most of us dream about going to Japan, hanging out with Japanese people, and actually using the language, I think you could highly benefit on advertising that aspect of these videos.
The quality of your videos is always on a constant rise, and this one, while I haven't finished the video yet, is a delight to watch
アルゴリズムさん、仕事をして!
edit: also thanks for a good game recommendation, never heard of Warlander before
Welcome back! I remember reading your comments before! As always, thank you for watching and commenting, glad you enjoyed the video!
PS. the algo in JP is just アルゴリズム 😉
PPS. Warlander is pretty hard if you're solo, the only reason I reached the top was cuz I had these guys guiding me 😂
@@JouzuJuls Thanks for the correction
Wow, really inspiring. Looking forward to seeing your next video!
Thank you very much! Glad you found the video inspiring!
less than 30k subs? It doesn't make sense! Like this videos are top-tier! Thank you!! I found your channel recently and I'm starting my journey in Japanese! hope your videos help me. sure the Anki list is.
@@KimberlyJho-ann Thank you very much! To think that a few years ago I had comments saying stuff like "Only at 3K subs!? What's going on" and now seeing 30K show up- that's already such a huge jump and I really appreciate it ☺️😄
@@JouzuJuls You're doing a magnificent job! So I know you will grow more! 💕 Thanks for you work ! Literally CZcams bless me with your videos in my grammar searching. Hope everything get better. Sending Good vibes from Panama.
Oh my god the video quality is incredible I can’t believe you have so few subscribers. This is so entertaining I’ll definitely be watching the rest of this series
I've been learning Japanese for 10 years and I've never had the chance to go, I was supposed to study abroad in 2020 with my gf, but covid had other plans for us... your channel has definitely been inspiring, I've definitely had trouble in the past using anki due to burnout (and undiagnosed adhd as I came to find out last year), I plan to rededicate myself to getting serious about learning japanese once more
Nice! Love this vlog series ❤️
Thank you very much! Glad you're enjoying the series 😊
just watched this and other videos from your channel and I just want to say.
This was an excellent video! I really enjoyed watching it. I'm really impressed with the quality of the editing! Keep up the great work!
ありがとうございます!
Yo bro I watched ur video immersion video from 3 years ago and watching this now THE DIFFERENCE IS CRAAZZY
Despite the small channel size, the video's are really entertaining and down to earth!
Thank you for the high quality content, can't wait for the next episode!
Thank you very much for always being in the comments! Glad you enjoyed the video and glad to have your support 😎
What the hell is this god tier story telling holy shit
Thank you very much!! 😭
I spent 25 days working more than 12 hours every day really trying to focus on trying to tell this story in the best way possible, really glad you enjoyed it!
wait this was 2 days ago. thats so cool. i think youtube algorithim is working because ive been researching videos about japan and how to meet people and it showed me this in my recommended.
Finally got around to watching this video, bro. Got me looking forward to my first trip to Japan someday.
The staff jumpscares were hilarious lmfao 😂
Really enjoy your videos. Also you are quite prolific to be able to produce such high quality content while learning Japanese while dominating the player base of some video game while traveling. I can't imagine how you get it all done lol
I love all the dedication and editing in your videos! I hope the right audience will find you because you deserve it so much!
Amazing editing ! You must have put a lot of work on this one ... Thanks for your hard work !
This video is so well edited!!!
Keep it up 🔥
今回のエピソードも面白かったです、動画の編集もお疲れ様でした、次回もお楽しみにしておりますので、頑張って下さいね!
見てくれて、そして優しいコメントをしてくれてありがとうございます!
This was such a sick video!!! Thank you, you really inspired me :)
That is some insane amount of work for just 20m of a video. As always well done!!!
Yea it was pretty intense, basically making 1 minute of progress a day. Thank you very much for the support!
Great video. Commenting for the algorithm
For good measure, I'm doubling down and saying this was a banger vid.
Glad you enjoyed it!
what an amazing episode
I think you already got this mentioned by others here in the comments, but damn your videos are hella nice edited and overall just super fun to watch! Algorithmさん pls do your work and let others see this underrated channel.
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed the video!
With the boost of your comment, let's hope Algorithmさん really does see this video!
That escape room part was super fun to watch
The fact that none of that was planned and that we randomly stumbled upon it really made it stick as one of the most memorable events of the entire trip. I'm so glad to have met these friends so that we could enjoy this together, there's literally no other way I would've stumbled upon this and made this memory otherwise 😇
Awesome quality as always
Thanks for watching as always 😎
That was awesome. So wholesome :) The escape room sequence reminded me of the Zero Escape game
マジで楽しみ過ぎるww
also tryna bump up the algorithm because of what happened, I really hope this gets fixed🙏🙏🙏
Don't stress, you'll have 500k subs in a couple years and this video will have 250K-500K views. Just keep creating :D I'm "studying" 中文 so always nice to come across learner videos of any type of language.
面白すぎる!loved every bit of this, great production quality! will def be sharing this around
Great stuff man, you inspire me to study more!
Nice video! Got it recommended by a friend, would not have noticed it if he did not since it was not shown to me by youtube even through i am subscribed and have the "bell" activated. Weird ...
Thank you very much! Seems CZcams is seriously against this video for whatever reason...
Bro, just wanna let you know, I felt the passion put into this video.
Thank you very much! 😭
The entire time making this I just felt so thankful that I'm able to make this videos and share my story, and also so thankful I was able to meet these friends and spend such a fun time with them. Just so many things to be thankful about and I'm so happy people are finding this motivating 😇
This was truly inspiring, thank you for working so hard to share your experience🫶🏼
this vid is edited so well
Amazing vid 🔥
YES!!! I love your editing! (I still can't speak Japanese despite being 三世)
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed the video! I can kinda relate since I'm Chinese, born and raised in Hong Kong- and can't read Chinese 😂
love your videos!!!!!!! OMGGGG SO GOOD
Thank you very much!! 😇
Why was this video recommended for me after a Final Fantasy video? This is why you should turn of autoplay.
But to comment on the video really nice editing. Just a shame that i am not the person for it.
THIS is exactly what I'm talking about 😭
I was wondering why this video was underperforming and called up CZcams support.
Turns out CZcams is literally against me and is recommending this video to COMPLETELY UNRELATED other videos. (See here for proof: imgur.com/a/UjMqg6i)
Thank you for leaving a comment here anyway, really appreciate it!
Great video bro
aaaa this is so good haha great video !!!
I was in bed barely awake when I watched this; so for me it was just a horror movie 🙀
OHAYOGOZAIMASU I guess😂
Thanks for watching and commenting!
The stuff before the escape room was quite fun. Should change the title to include those.
Great video.
This video was amazing ✨✨
The danganronpa music just makes this way better😂
I'm not learning Japanese, but I really enjoy your content maybe I can apply your experience on another language, and also keep going your content is amazing I know that you will blow up soon :)
Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed the video even though you're not studying Japanese! For sure I'm hope this video was able to motivate you so you can experience the joy of making friends in the language you're studying too! 😁
凄い凄い😮
見てくれてありがとうございます!
Bro can you make one more episode!!!
It really felt like i was in the escape room too xD
Glad my video gave you an immersive experience! Even I scared myself a few times while recreating that jumpscare- I think I have PTSD now LMAO
nice!!!
Thank god im not the only one who struggles with konbini
Underrated
"my japanese friends" imagine having friends in your native or second language TwT
saikyou video da , ichiban.................just some things i picked up
btw nihongo jouzo desu ne.😂
I think CZcams algorithm's getting its sh*t together by recommending this vid to me. I've just found your channel, but I already learned more Japanese in one day than I ever did in the past. Sorry, I can't join your membership or subscribe to you on Patreon. Still, I'm looking forward to more of your content! I really love the way you edit your videos and they're really helpful.
2:15 Lets fkn download it hoping there is some japanese friendo
It's quite a hard game if you're playing solo, so it's really a good idea to make some friends with the pros to get a good win rate.
Tbh if your Japanese is good enough to have a normal conversation (and you have the confidence to try it), joining the Warlander Discord JP side and asking for a pro to team up with you and teach you could be possible.
I'd just recommend getting to gold rank or something first so you at least know the basics 😂
@@JouzuJuls i have social anxiety even online so i cant open the mic. but maybe when they are japanese i will feel like they are anime characters lolo
@@caslloveer0 If you really want to become an anime protagonist with Japanese friends, the best advice I can give is to simply book a teacher on iTalki.
iTalki provides a safe 1 on 1 environment which allows you to experiment with your output with a native speaker and fail without embarrassment.
It's an excellent way to practice speaking and build the confidence to actually use more Japanese in the wild!

So what happened in the amusement park. Did the serial killer catch on you guys? It's so cliffhanger😭
So the funny thing is- I'd put it in the video if the Killer was actually like right outside our room when we left...
But he wasn't.
He wasn't even down the corridor??
And then we went back to the lobby and there WASNT EVEN A SINGLE STAFF IN SIGHT????
Maybe that staff that jumpscared me twice was getting changed LMAO
We just left before he had the chance tho 😂😂
isnt 初対面 read as しょたいめん? or are both readings possible?
🤦♂how have i not known this until now
Nop, you're right. I'm just straight up wrong 😂😂
man i want to learn japanese but i feel like i have no chance and i wont be able to do it. Did you struggle when you started btw?
This channel was created for the purpose of documenting myself learning from day 1, and you can see a recap of the whole first year here: czcams.com/video/Jp92ZHyR_rw/video.html
.

Maybe they didn't give you any nihongo jouzu but i can give you a video editing jouzu
