Thank you for this review. I saw the link on your Steam review. Do you think that the Primal Calling DLC is necessary and worthwhile to purchase along with this Lost Valley DLC?

This does add value to the Primal Calling dlc. If it's your first playthrough, I'd say skip PC. but if you've already played solasta before, it gives a decent amount of content.
..then again, it is on sale rn.. 🤔

I bought solasta with the Primal calling dlc, simply because i prefer to have a barb in my group.
So id say if your into one of the both classes its worth it.
Atleast i didnt regret it and enjoyed my first playthrough with it.
Solasta is still overall my favorit part of the current rpgs in that vein.

@@bechtholdillustrator9378 Do you like Solasta better than Pillars of Eternity 1 or 2, Divinity: original Sin 2, Pathfinder WotR?

For me I'd put it below dos2 and in line with (or slightly below) pathfinder. But better than poe

I agree honestly, barb is my favorite low level class

    How is the Multiplayer?

Works perfectly. Up to 4 players can play co-operative, but if needs be a player can control more than one character. The host chooses dialogue options, but the others can indicate their preference. You can multiplay without the new DLC as it is part of an update for the main game and you can also multiplay player created content on the Steam workshop.
I would recommend the new DLC, as the campaign is great fun with 4 different routes, depending on which faction you side with. Plus a ton of new mobs, magic items, recipes and a new subclass for every main class. The dungeon creator has been vastly improved too, allowing for proper campaigns and quests.

Should probably mention before you review something that your being paid/given the game for free to review. You know, for the honesty of it.

The worst part about Solasta is 5th ed DnD, it's such simple system the game cannot have depth.
