It's actually a 2.0 turbo petrol that also happens to have an electric motor
This is an internal combustion engine, that may drive a generator, but that does not make it an "electric motor".

Most efficient design. Electric motor turns piston motor. Multiplication in power of 10x. Great gas mileage. I heard it on Fox News.

@@zacharywilhelm2462 I can tell you they do. I spent my life in the woodworking industry and all the machines and handhelds had electric engines in them...but without the uppy downy things.
Kraftwerk comes to mind when I see the robotics involved. Pretty frickin cool.

Кстати: если немцам выгодно раздавать фамильное серебра бесплатно, это их дело. Потому что я не сомневаюсь, что все технологические секреты давно хранятся в китайских архивах и только смотреть, как новая китайская машина появится на рынке. Что-то достаточно отличноя от оригинала, чтобы обойти патентные права, но по сути нагло скроенное. О китайцах можно много говорить, но не то, что они ленивые идиоты.
Я слежу за развитием рынка китайских автопроизводителей и держу пари, что самое большее через 10 лет половина автомобилей в Европе будет иметь надпись «Made in China».
Но это не моя и не ваша проблема. :)))

@@andrzej3511 Относительно воровства вы правы только отчасти.Дело в том ,что на строительство иностранных заводов Китай даёт разрешение с условием,что их технологии будут использоваться на китайских заводах.Т.е. американцы,немцы и т.д. сами вооружили их своими современными разработками.А уж копировать они умеют))))

It's the POS gasoline engine that powers the generator that powers the electric drive motors. It is also prone to overheating as its' design traps air inside the block preventing the coolant from proper cooling.
It's sold to people who couldn't tell an ICE engine from a block of ice.
I don't see what part is the Electric engine but nevertheless this is truly alien technology! Germany engineer is the best tool maker in the world that aid these floor workers work like child play in the play ground.

It's the production line of a 4 cylinder Internal combustion engine to run on gas and not an electric engine.
That process is also very old school if I was BMW I would have this video suppressed. If you go to the Tesla factory it is clean as a hospital. This is an embarrassment to BMW it should be taken down immediately.

The robotics has made vehicles more expensive and have taken many jobs. Looks like an easy job for humans now.

@@jesscast5122 No, they are for a 3 cylinder 1.5L engine. You can see it in the whole process. BMW literally split their inline 6 into 2 to get their current 1.5L 3-cylinder turbocharged engine!

После 2010-го я бы не рекомендовал покупать БМВ, моторы одноразовые, не ремонтопригодные. Если хотите БМВ покупайте 2000- 2010 годов + капремонт двигателя, и будет ездить дольше нового в три раза, доказано и проверено.

@@user-qq7gu4hs8x Дело даже не в алюминие, а в самой конструкции мотора, они делают так по молдавански, что бы мотор ходил 150 т. и выходил из строя. Что бы ты покупал мотор как новые шины. Есть канал "Теория ДВС" там парень разбирает на винтики новые моторы, сравнивая их со старыми тех же марок авто. То что он там находит, просто ни в какие ворота...
Смотря на все это, ощущения, что я живу в каменном веке

The BMW Brilliance Automotive production location in Shenyang builds vehicles exclusively for the Chinese market. The Dadong plant in the northeast of the city opened in 2003 and currently produces the BMW 5 Series Long-Wheelbase Version. Going forward, this facility will also build the plug-in hybrid variant of the BMW 5 Series and the new BMW X3. The Tiexi plant in the west of Shenyang, which went on-stream in 2012, builds the BMW X1 Long-Wheelbase Version (including a plug-in hybrid variant), the BMW 1 Series Sedan, the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer, the BMW 3 Series Long-Wheelbase Version and the BMW 3 Series Sedan. The engine plant, which opened in 2016, produces the latest generation of the BMW TwinPower Turbo three and four-cylinder petrol engines.
The Chinese do not even have to steal western techniques: they are beeing delivered for free into their hands !
You answered many of my questions in that this is not a plant in Germany but in China. Would it be safe to say the quality of a BMW made in Chinna the same as one made in Germany? The Chinese employees at this plant gets paid at local prevailing wages? So does these Chinese made BMW 's sold in China for the same exchange trade currency as it would be sold like in the US or much cheaper ?
