Interesting to see how Tony integrates the QPAS into a shared system. I took the Morphagene out as it’s the least integral piece in the way I use it. If you have a Shared System, how are you fitting the QPAS in? What did you remove and why?
Tony actually uses a Shared System with no modifications. I have been swapping the QPAS in for either Echophon or Erbe-Verb depending on the patch when making demo videos. I think it's a natural pair with the Morphagene, so I always make sure both are in the case :)
Dean Rinehart I ended up getting a small skiff to put all the new stereo stuff they have coming out. It won’t fill it but maybe I’ll buy another maths and a morphagene. 😜
unfortunately i was impatient on waiting for a shared system to be in stock and i bought the erica synth system 3 also a great system but i really wish i had waited .... there is something about the make noise modules that make them very special. so now i buy i larger case and start ordering makenoise stuff when ever its available
P.S. Can you describe in a bit of detail what's going on with Wogglebug here? I'd like to understand what you're doing in a broader context so I can try to learn by applying it to my setup. Thank you!
Sure, the Wogglebug is clocked by a gate from the "Bouncing Ball" function, creating a new value with each bounce. The resulting Stepped Random is patched to the Radiate-L input on QPAS, which modulates all four filters of the QPAS to a new value, with each bounce. The Smooth output is then patched to Radiate-R, which makes it so that the Stepped modulates the left two filters and the Smooth modulates the right two filters. I then replaced the Stepped output with the Woggle output, so that the modulation would be continuous (not stepped) on both filter pairs, making the stereo spread more even.
