Let’s review the Tronsmart T6 Plus - a 40W Bluetooth speaker.
Often specifications and marketing are one thing, and real life performance - could differ from them. That’s why lately youtube reviews are so respected. I’m going to talk about all the specs, and we will put the speaker to test - and will compare it with the JBL flip 3, which is in my opinion still a great performer.
Unboxing experience is just about right: the speaker, user guide and the charging cable.
In fact this box looks similar to the premium brands - which underlines Tronsmart’s goal to offer well competitive performance.
Operation is very simple and most of the controls are next to each-other on the back side - options to skip and fast forward, a microphone, equalizer button, aux in port, and microSD slot.
The side is actually the volume rocker and the Bluetooth indicator at the same time. And bringing the volume up and down is quite awesome - I’d say I like it better than on the JBL Flip 3. There’s a feature called TWS - which allows pairing two speakers to be paired and to play music simultaneously and to create something like a 3D effect. Sounds great, but I have only one unit, so didn’t have the chance to try it.
The equalizer has three presets - vocal, 3d deep bass and extra bass. Two bass settings and one vocal. And of course - with such a small speaker size, the bass is the part that is hardest to be properly done.
I am not going to annoy you too much with specifications, because we use these speakers most of the time for listening to music.
In the video you can see the sound parsed through spectrum analyzer when looking at the chart - pay attention to the highs and the lows - means - at both edges of the screen.
Outdoors the T6 Plus outperforms the Flip 3 in terms of loudness - which is to be expected (2x20W vs 2x10W). Perhaps the Flip 3 remains more accurate even if the volume is set to maximum.
At the end I want to share my personal opinion - the T6 Plus is very portable and excellent if you are not looking for high quality sound. It is not as crisp as the JBL Flip 3, and many other reputable audio brands. And there’s a reason for that - being able to create a well balanced sound output takes time, experience, knowledge, sometimes traditions. And Tronsmart still has a way to go! For me it is clear which of both is a “keeper”. But if you are on the hunt for a cheap and very loud unit - it is a perfect contender. Obviously better frequency range! BUT, only if it's actually noticeable to the human ear
depends on the preference of the user. If used outdoor you may want to crank the volume higher than listening indoors. 😊

Yes good point did you try the other EQ settings and did they perform better or closer to what you compare to; jbl? Why did you choose the flip 3 btw? Did you know that after flip 4 with flip 5 they downgraded to non 360 degree sound and swapped for something that simulates 360 but is clearly not as good if you compare the two? Why didn’t you try the jbl charge 3 or 4 to compare the two...imo it looks closer to a charge just by size alone... and last question...I just recently learned of something called soundstage and it refers to the “roundness” or almsot spherical sound that a recording should have..the more of a sphere that u can hear the better the soundstage usually... so far many say that jbl soundstage is unmatched and I’ve noticed this 3d quality the first time I heard a jbl bt speaker! So I new it was true from the get go...but anyway I too have never heard anyt(night come close...does tronsmart even begin to have this effect ...interestingly I rarely hear any reviews touch on this topic..only audiophile channels do so... thanks for the video and cheers

Yes - it is normal, because it consumes electricity.
Must have a folty t6 my one is clear and crisp sounding but jbl 100 pounds and t6 50 pounds when them not together will you know any difference between the sound plus it all depends what devices you use to pump sound in for good reason I say this .
That is possible; Or simply there are differences with the batches - sometimes companies switch to different vendors and that makes quite a big difference.

you may try to adjust the EQ on the player used on the T6 Plus and reduce frequencies below 80hz and hear the difference. 😊 You can higher the volume with only lesser distortion 😁 Thank me later guys. ☺

I think the appropriate word should be 'affordable' or 'inexpensive'. There is nothing cheap about the speaker. It is well made and sounds good. The only thing here is that it is priced fairly.

The JBL is great about low-frequencies. Lately I test the Tribit Maxsound Plus - and it is awesome! Costs about the same money.

If you mean whether you can play music via an app like poweramp and listen to the music using the speaker - then yes, this works.
I think the older T6 sounds good over this newer T6 Plus.

I don't think it is better than any JBL device, but for a bidget-friendly speaker it is pretty good.

@@motwister1013 i have the t6 and charge 4. So in case you love Bass and dont care about the rest, then the tronsmart is for you. But the charge 4 is the greater sounding speaker, it is way more balanced than the tronsmart. Also the tronsmart vibrates more and gets sometimes hot near the chargingport when charging.
