Who ever thought that they would be excited about a new gun release from TAURUS .Once they fired all quality control personnel and hired a new team the realiability was so noticable. The move of a manufacturing site to Georgia was a gutsy move they are a real force to be reckoned with price, realibility ,and quality. The G3 is still hard to come by in Kentucky they are consistently sold out.

I would like to say that Taurus has come a long way with their quality control. I purchased one Not a month and a half ago when I've only been able to put a couple magazines through it but I love this firearm. Dependable lightweight and it will eat any ammo you put in it. Excellent job Taurus! The fact that it comes with three 12 round magazines made out of steel and it comes with steel sights, which by the way, the G3C will accept Glock sights.. It also accepts certain Sig Sauer magazines. Only things that I'm doing to this firearm regarding upgrades is putting new sites on it because I just don't like a blacked out rear sight and I'm going to get a solid steel two-piece guide rod for it. That's it! Like I said I've only been able to put you know a couple two or three magazines through it but right out of the box this thing was very accurate. Smooth shooting. And for those of you that like a higher pressure ammunition, I have read in multiple locations including The owner's manual for this firearm that it will accept and fire +p ammunitions. One last thing.. If you are going to get the higher pressure ammo I highly recommend liberties civil defense. 50 grain hollow point traveling at 2,000 ft per second. It cuts through level 3 body armor easily. And that particular ammunition fragments like a starburst upon entry into ballistics gelatin. Now with a 22 oz overall weight with this handgun... A magazine loaded with 12 of those 50 grain bullets.. It just stays lightweight.
1159 p.m. December 30th 2021. Happy new year stay safe and God bless!

The one con I see about this weapon is that you cannot adjust the back sight for elevation and most videos I've seen this gun tends to shoot low to the left. I don't like having to spend more money to add something to a weapon it should already have. Still the pros, 3 12 round mags, the tougher finish, the trigger outweigh the cons and I'll probably get one

Might be nice but I’ll never buy another Taurus product. I had a new rifle blow up and damn near blind me. I had sighted it in and took it to the stand in deer season. I shot a doe and felt hot gas burn my face. The breach was left jammed partly open. After weeks of arguing with customer service they finally consented to look at it. All I asked was credit to buy a safer design rifle from them. I was told it would take 8-10 weeks to evaluate. 2 weeks later I got the same dangerous rifle back with a note that headspace was found to be correct. Headspace wasn’t the problem in the first place. I took it to a local gunsmith who found within minutes that the breach lock was defective from the start. It was actually cracked from the failure too but they left it in the gun. He as a Taurus dealer was able to get through to them for a credit. I bought a mossberg patriot from him.
I’ll never look at a Taurus again.

That Taurus safety is just garbage. They put it on all their guns. I want the gun with no safety. If it has to be a safety i want it small. Recessed. And never moving unless I want it to. I have a Taurus slim. Ive had 4 other types and I cannot get comfortable with that safety. Right now I'm carrying a shield 2.0 no safety in a kydex holster. Perfect. Glock 26. Perfect. I can list a dozen more. Please taurus. Your guns are getting reliable and streamlined. Please have no safety models and try some that are a quarter the size and much more solid. Keep your current models as is for people who are used to them. Just MY opinion. My 2 cents. My experience. It only applies to me I know. It is just one thing on my wish list. Keep improving taurus.
