I like all Chinese food and nothing of them disappoints me. I didn’t learn Chinese traditional or cultural but I actually can figure out their decorations. Hanfu covers you the way you look beautiful in them. Thanks I learned this celebration.

Japan has similar traditional festival named as 'tango no sekku'(端午の節句) in 5 May, anciently transfered from China:-) Ornamented (miniature of / kids size) Japanese ancient style armor, helmet, or doll of armored boy, to hope to grow all boys in the health:-)

When pork cook together with rice, it has a special flavor and if both pork and rice wrapped in bamboo leaves, this combinations will give you even better flavor. Thus, rice dumpling with pork fillings is my favorite option!

Thank you for telling the 2 stories! It seems like most people tell only about Qu Yuan and/or conflate the 2 stories.

I think in SE Asia we celebrated it to end the monsoon season. This annual festival happens on the full moon of the Buddhist month of Kadeuk, the full moon is considered to bring good luck that can lead to an abundant harvest.

I absolutely love your head pieces! The little horns are adorable! Where did you get them?
I never really got to celebrate the dragon boat festival when I was younger outside of eating Zhong Zi. My family would always spend a week making them in mass and handing them out to all the other family members to freeze and save for later when we can't eat all of them!

Do you mean "Puff the Magic Dragon"? This Chinese Dragon is a different species called "Long (龙)" in Chinese.
