Is it true you can hook these usb direct to positive an$ negative right into the headlight housing .. ? Great content sir. Plan on doing this myself this week. Yikes. Haha

Yes. I have run mine straight off the battery. Make sure you get the USB charger with on/off switch and a pack of shrink wrap cable sleeves. I had to file the hole the USB housing out a half a millimetre out. Most people have to do this.

I was going to comment, but I saw it’s already been mentioned. Often times people grab power from their headlight. There’s actually a wiring harness where you can unplug your headlight and insert it into this harness and then reattach it.
Also, for what it’s worth, I think you have your positive and negative comments backwards.
Negative is always first off, last on.
Looks like this video is about seven months old. How are you liking the bike these days?
