I also prefer the live version but I always do that when I heard it before the studio one... while we're at it, I don't think it's overproduced, sounds pretty good and obviously not as raw as the KEXP performances

Overproduced. The song itself is 5/5 but the mix is not perfect. The KEXP live version from Iceland Airwaves 2014 has superior sound. There is no space at all left on this track and it feels like I'm sitting in the bathtub listening to the song. :( :( :( :(
