Lamar Jackson may be the first MVP quarterback in Ravens franchise history, but Joe Flacco was able to consistently deliver when it mattered.
True. But you can only be good as your team. Flacco had Torrey smith, Jacoby Jones and boldwin. You need the weapons to succeed to win a Super Bowl. Like I don’t think flacco would of had that success if he was working with marquis brown, Seth roberts and willie Snead.
@@lilty3778 he only had that trio for like two years and one he won a superbowl imagine if flacco had weapons his whole career
@@lilty3778 boldin tho? Lol my man was washed and done it’s like saying Steve smith was great there
Are you kidding me? Flacco was THE first MVP QB in Ravens. Look up your history books.
Bro ray Lewis crying at the beginning that man was different real leader true warrior
This would be the last home playoff loss for the Patriots until the 2019 wild card game against the Titans.
They should use the amount of players he’s injured as a stat for Bernard Pollack
Playoff Flacco is one of the most underrated QB’s of this past generation. The way he zips it just beautiful. He was so good against man to man coverage and was truly elite on play action, specifically bootlegs. I wish the Ravens would’ve surrounded him with more talent. The one time he had an elite WR (Smith sr) he had a career year and they should’ve beaten the Pats (2014).
By the time he got to my Broncos, he just wasn’t the same. He was a statue in the pocket and a sitting duck. He had lost damn near all mobility by then. He will forever be the Patriot slayer.
Still no where near as clutch and legendary in the postseason as Eli Manning. He's probably the Poor Man's Eli of the AFC playoffs and even that's a stretch
@@yaahlabanyamyan144 lol no. 2012 game vs the Broncos in Denver. That’s clutch. He is not a poor man’s Eli. He has better playoff stats than Eli and it ain’t close. Eli is one of the most overrated QB’s in history. Bro was 120-120. We call that mediocrity
The Patriots beat the Ravens in the 2011 AFC Championship and the 2014 Divisonal. Not the "Patriot slayer". Not to mention he lost to them in 2009, 2010, 2013 and 2016.
@@jackduncan5442 and Flacco and the Ravens destroyed the patriots in the 2009 playoff game in New England. Then beat the Patriots twice in the 2012 season including another playoff win in New England to go to the super bowl.
Correction-Flacco vs Brady in the playoff - 2 and 2. Sorry Charlie , not exactly a patriots slayer unless you’re talking about his teammate Pollard
Beautiful win by the Ravens. In that whole run, especially this game, they had the makings of a team that deservedly won the Super Bowl.
Watching this after vintage Flacco came out in the Jets comeback last week😂
Browns now😅
Update: 12/29/23 - Flacco still elite…
Didn't age well
Crazy to think of a game with Ray Rice and Aaron Hernandez in it after all the controversy that followed them off the field afterwards 😐
Plus Not to mention the unsolved murders that Ray Lewis was charged with even though the charges were eventually dropped. Whole lot of controversy.
Yeah and it's Ray Rice day at the Baltimore game this weekend. Crazy all those domestic violence commercials the NFL had and then it's Ray Rice day and they're honoring him. What a sham!
Bro Brady literally played great this game I’ve never seen so many drops Wes had zero clutch gene.😭
I feel like when welker dropped that 3rd down pass on that drive in the 2nd half, it ruined their momentum. Also got ptsd from super bowl 46
Crazy to think if that Ridley hit took place today, it would have been a penalty on ravens and first down pats. Times have changed
For sure, and for better in these cases. That hit looked so dangerous
Surprising it wasn't a penalty when it happened too.
Ravens defense hammered the Patriots offense into the dirt that night
They actually didn’t. The pats offense beat themselves with welker’s absurd amount of drops that night.
@@captainchaserman7148Typical Gaytriot excuses 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@Leeedy_1.1 Nobody likes Welker though lul
@@Leeedy_1.1 its the truth. Watch these highlights, Welker was the worst player on the field that night.
Well Joe Flacco and Tom Brady meets each other for the 5th time that's their second time for the playoffs meeting
This was hernandez last game right?
It was
I fucking love Ray Lewis crying during the national anthem.
2:11 5:04 Rut-roh!😂
I don't think this version of Flacco is showing up January 2024... I think it's something greater.
Brady's never outrun anyone in his life. bahahahaha
A lot of criminals in this game lol
if you told patriots fans that they'd get 3 more super bowls out of tom, given the past 5 years you'd be NUTS
The endzone word marking in Gillette stadium would be changed after this game
And not for the better. I liked this endzone PATRIOTS a lot more than the current version
@@chrisuncleahmad I agree. Also gil santos never broadcasted another patriots game on radio after this
Brady went won to play in 5 super bowls after this game, winning 4.
4:05 dirty play by a cheater - he taught Mac Jones well. Steelers Nation was with Ravens fans this day.
Never cheated, the Squeelers cheated more. Learn how to accept greatness.
Cheifs have been biggest Cheaters for 4 years now
@@notoriouseagle1074yeah tell that to the hundreds of Spygate and Deflategate videos all over the web lmao. It's common knowledge by now outside of the delusional New England fanbase that the Patriots illegally filmed teams during their 2000's Super Bowl runs, and very common knowledge that New England deflated footballs (to which Tom was suspended and the Patriots docked draft picks). If you didn't cheat, there would be no need to continue to defend or argue against the known facts, that sir is called " GUILT ". Does every team cheat ? Of coarse. Why does it matter more for New England ? Because they sustained the most success WHILE cheating essentially damaging fan interest in the game.
Bro can’t be serious
@@captainchaserman7148 I call it like I see it.
Don't forget the pats went on to the Superbowl and lost to my NY football 🏈 giants
haha the refs couldnt help new england
They cost them the week 3 game.
Now that’s why Brady didn’t win like he did now.
