      1. vibration ka ek hi solution jidhar vibration aaraha hai... vahan 3mm tape ya to rubber washer laga lo
      2. bike offroadinga k time... rear disc jada use karna padta hai... aur agar abs option off nai hota to better hai gear downshift karo..engine slow down enough hai...
      3. rahi bat gear k awaz ki... vo har bike main hota hai... kuch bike se kam ayega kuch main jada ayega.. depnd karta hai manufacturers pe.. bajaj ki har bike ye awaz jada hi ata hai... aur ye abhi ka nai hai bhut pehle se hai ye sab... engine oil jo BAJAJ provide karta hai usko replace karoge to kafi had tak kam hojayega...

    I request you to please update the video from future regarding Dominar 400 -
    1) The vibration is very less in this segment. Please try other bikes in this segment.
    2) The pillion seats are the best in this segment and the First Gear sounds is very less when starting initially. While on run, minimal sound of the first gear.
    3) Duke 390 is a sports bike and Dominar 400 is a cruiser. But, even after that the pickup of Dominar 400 is at par.
    Requesting you to please take a detailed test ride at various roads and then update the video.
    Safe ride.

    Done 10000plus kms on dominar 400 abs 2017 editions.
    1 Vibrations are minimal all way upto rev limit.
    2 Abs is not an issue it works f9 even during offroads.
    3 the issue with the thump dat occurs during the shift from neutral to 1st gear is normal as the gears are in relative motion. For better understanding check out videos related to motorcycle transmission

      aditya dixit the thump while shifting to 1st gear is annoying and most 1lakh+ bikes dont have such thump, and vibrations are much more sound when its in 4-5k rpm but that was mentioned before buying lol so cant complain

      I have ride both the bikes bajaj dominar and yahama fz25 I feel the engine is more refined ,
      less vibration ,
      very good built quality from yahama
      I know that dominar is having more power than fz25 but my personal preference is better to go for fz25 u get complete package,.
      don't take me wrong way that's my personal choice

      +Aashish Bhatt... Nope I won't take your choice wrong... But a single cylinder churning out more power will definitely vibrate more...
      Comparing a company like yamaha that has so much experience in automotive engineering than bajaj, does have technical supremacy... And I know that fz25 is hands down more refined indeed..!
      Why I bought bajaj is because it is indeginious technology and bajaj being a local manufacturer, has more service touch points and cost of maintenance and spare parts is cheaper..! Simultaneously, I'm a tourer which means I need a higher capacity engine which can go stress free at constant speed for long and a 250cc engine with 5 speed gearbox will not de doing justice to my requirement..!
      Then again, "to each, on his own"..!

      @@shoaibkolkata Open up the rider seat and remove the fuse for the abs ecu. Its written on the fuse box. This will disable the ABS.

    To add on some points, pls do not condemn and say that its under 2 lacs bike, so it vibrates. We have to congratulate bajaj to give people in india affordable higher cc bikes which everyone dreams of. Even kts 390 also has vibrations, which only ktm riders knows.
    Dominar is power cruiser and a tourer. Its not a offroader. If you need some offroad capabilities, then switch to off roaf tyres, they will help you grip on wet surface.
    Enjoy the rides with the bike, forget imperfections 😄

    Dominar has a lot of weight in the front and you can feel it while maneuvering. I think that's the only drawback this back has. Overall, an excellent bike.

    Bhai pickup depends on the state of tuning of a bike's engine. Dominar's engine is derived from the ktm duke 390. Its the same 373cc engine. But it is tuned for relaxed long rides where as ktm engines are tuned for outright performance. Isiliye performance mein farak hai dono k..

    Hey. I own dominar 400. It has a very great pickup according to its category. You cannot compare it to Duke as Duke is a sports bike and dominar is an adventurer bike. So it will have less pickup. So you might feel it has slow pickup but according to it's weight it has great pickup.

      Just to add a bit more, The engine setup for both bikes are different which is evident from performance.
      Dominar is sport tourer and by far the best in class for the money.
      Duke is for performance but these days only idiots with death wish buy it

    The similar pick up to duke 200 is because the additional weight of the dominar it has to pull. As it uses cheaper to manufacture bits like pressed steel twin spar chassis, box swingarm and cheap heavy wheels for China on the other hand ktm use light and expensive cast aluminium parts. At the given price and intended purpose of touring it appears to be a good buy. The thud sound while shifting to first gear i have observed in many big capacity bikes like Bonneville as well but what is the reason?.

    Pillion seat is not horizontal coz this bike is meant for cruising and pickup you are talking about …again this is a cruiser not a sports bike

    Please do research before sharing disadvantages.I think It's the rider who have all the problems(U). #Dominor have some problems but you didn’t even know that what are those. Those problems are external and after modification.
    🚫Don’t Spread Rumours🚫
    If Bajaj add ABS Switch then it'll help with off-road.But due to Safety and road complaint they haven’t added.
    #Dominor is for #HyperRiding.
    The owner choose their Motorcycle as per their requirements not our requirement.dear
    Hence every Motorcycle has their limitation in some extent to other motorcycle which we are comparing with.

    the 200 cc bikes from pulsar RS , NS is strong contender among the 200cc segment .When i heard about dominar 400 , i thought that the he power output from it would be near 43 or 42 ps like the duke 390. but when i saw the actual figures i was shocked to see that Dominar fails the competition in 400cc segment.

    ABS will work only when you pull the break leaver twice. I am riding my Dominor from past two months and I have also went on over long rides like off road, highway and even dirt planes. It's such an amazing bike. Also here ABS have never ever made me to slip. I think that you don't know to use ABS. 😂

    Major disadvantage ak hi hai, off road pe abs kab nahi karta... baki koi serios prblm nahihai, offroad pe continue break lever ko hold karke mat rakhna, hard breaking karna agar off road karna hai to bsr bar break ko hold and release karna parta hai... aur jo sound 1st geare shift karne se nikal ti hai , use kam karne k liye, rpm ko normal karke shift karna, rev dekar shift karne se sound jada aata hai... rev dene se bhi , rpm ko 2000 me aajane dena... tab sound jada nahi hota... btw bike bht achi hai, 2017 ki best bike hai bhai ...

    All points valid except, every high torque bike will have that khat sound while engaging 1st Gear. Also pickup is not same as that of Duke 200 because of its power to weight ratio. Dont take it otherwise but imho this bike is supposed to be a cruiser segment bike. Relaxed riding all day long. No bhagana and all and little off-road. But yes, an ABS switch off function should have been present. Nice video bhai btw.

    2:45 most of the bajaj bikes has this transmission related issue ( Gear false etc)
    4:14 because of the weight to power ratio....duke has the highest ratio hence it has better accelation

    If u want to switch off abs just take off that abs fuse from fuse box which is situated under seat. And after that u can again plug in and good to go...

    Dear this is for touring purpose instead for drag race that's why the pickup is lesser in comparison to Duke 390. Also, upto 2000rpm or 2500rpm torque is almost to equivalent to BHP but as you shifted to higher gear 4/5/6 gradually torque starts declining at higher pace consequently you will observe decent increase in pickup . So if a bike having high initial pickup of say top speed 160 gained advantage & become 1st in position than the bike having low initial pickup & same top speed. Here gear ratio plays an important role.

    ride royal enfield then you will realise what vibration really mean because it just kicks off after 80 kmph . crusing on enfield is not so good. thus previous there no 300 cc bikes but now with dominar ktm and apache go for these company not RE ..RE just sucks and Royal enfiend making its customer a big fool ..with an unrefind engine.350cc engine with 19.8 Hp a big bull shit if you compare it with avenger 220cc and 19.2 Hp so whats the difference making its customer A big C.so there are good option for long distance travel consider other bikes like Dominar, KTM , Apache , and not RE.

    You can say about pickup as duke 200 is a bike of Carbon Fibre and ABS work exactly as if it will grab the Disk the bike will skid very badly also the vibration are now more reduced in 2018 model. Hope you understand

    Problem engine me clucth ki hai..jo neutral hone ke baad bhi picche hone nhi deti.. Clutch lever ko handle bar pe chipka kar rakhe ,, or pichhe karo easily ho jayegi...
    I'm user , so I'm feeling ur opinion... Try it first.. Becoz engine is sohc.. Engine is better than sohc like duke 390...

    2019 dominar have very good performance and good colours with usd fork produced

    When changing from neutral to gear don't rev, that's the reason why you are getting that sound, always put your RPM at minimum when you are changing your gear, and dude tight your chain it's so tight,

    Bhai, nice video but the reason for low pick up is weight. How is the ground clearance? does it crape the belly pan on humps?

    Duke is racing bike and dominar is touring bike. Racing bikes are designed for speed and touring bikes for long tours. This is why duke has more acceleration. Also do not compare racing bike with touring bike both are designed for different purposes.

    bro I don't think any problem in pickup as its pickup is more then apache rr310 n duke 200 n the vibration problem is mostly between 4500 to 6500rpm below n above is fine n abs sensor can be off just by one fuse in socket and no abs will work n u can easily offroad comfortably

    A bit slow pick up in dominar is due to body power weight ratio weight of KTM Duke is around 140 and Bajaj dominar is around 180 , WHICH HELPS ktm to get a 1 SEC . LEAD .

    So what your saying is that- a duke 200 and dominar 400 are same in pick up. right?
    so what about dominar 400 having similar pick up from 0 to 100 as the harley davidson street 750?. does this make the harley bad?. please don't compare just based on the capacity of the bike.
