    If I were you I'd take it easy, it's just friendly advice from one rider to another. None of us are Valentino Rossi, for myself I'm just a regular rider. In 1994 I broke 2 legs, an arm and my pelvis. Took me 2 whole years to walk normally again. Fortunately I recovered 100%, so everybody be careful. Ride safely, Mike.

    To minimize or avoid rear tire lift under heavy braking, you need to hit front and rear brakes at the same time. If you hit front brake first it will bottom the front forks, put allmost all weight on the front tire and lift weight from the rear end, making also rear brake almost useless. After that the rear wont have enough grip to pull the bike down to the ground. If you hit both brakes at the same time it will pull down both front and rear end. The rear wont lift, and the rear tire will have more grip giving you shorter brake distance. That's why it is important to use front and rear brakes all the time, so you will do this automaticly, if you need to stop under emergency.

      The problem on this bike is the rear suspension very poor

      that is excellent advise and makes perfect sense ,,i usually use both brakes,, but never considered what you said here ,,thinking back i mostly use rear break first ,,depending on situation ,,,I would think hitting rear first then front is ok ? Thanks

    • @italkgory99
      @italkgory99 Před 2 lety +1

      Well the proper way is to hit both brakes at the same time and then taper off the rear while applying progressively more pressure to the front. Do not keep holding rear down.

    To minimize the rear from lifting under emergency braking do the following during emergency braking: sit as far back on the seat and lean forward at the same time. This will shift your weight more to the back tyre and lowers the centre of gravity

    Traction control (TCS1) is enabled at your test, so that's why the 0-100km/h result is poor. TCS off mode would not restrain the engine power and improves acceleration time.
    Mode B cuts 10hp peak power, at least this was the case short after introducing of the CP3 engine years ago.

    • @billhamilton7524
      @billhamilton7524 Před 4 lety

      Interesting ,,I assuming TCI enabled may make lifting front end more difficult ????

    • @markuskrawczyk8743
      @markuskrawczyk8743 Před 4 lety

      @@billhamilton7524 what is TCI? You mean TCS? However, an enabled traction control may prevent a lifting front end, but it definitely interrupts the engine power. Therefore you cannot be as fast as with disabled TCS.

    Do you test for "B" mode? This has reduced performance. Repeat this for "A" mode and there will certainly be better results.

    The top speed at 225 km/h is not real because the speedometer has a tacho offset of 15 km/h. Infact on GPS the top speed is 210 km/h. This motorbike is slow for own 119 cv because the aerodynamic is not good, the center of gravity is high and has limited with a speed limiter. I had the first model of Tracer ( 2015) and for these reasons i wasn' t satisfied. Now I bought the Bmw f 900 xr with 105 cv and his real top speed is 220 km/ h.

    • @2lbsTrigrPull
      @2lbsTrigrPull Před 3 lety

      So you bought the BMW because it goes the "real" 220km/h and not the 210km/h of the Tracer? I hope that's not the only reason...

    • @giovanniguariento8042
      @giovanniguariento8042 Před 3 lety

  • @68erfan

    You should never use clutch when braking! Because you lose engine brake, which is around 40 percent of your braking power.
    Never ever get used to pull clutch when braking until your engine is going off or shaking, which is not important in accident situations and really sudden brakes.
    Please bro, dont do that! Bike should be in gear and engaged most of the time, not only for engine brake but also for stability.

      @@docblizard dépends on what type of bike and to whom you buy it from. There’s the compulsive buyer type who’s gonna go with a loan on a bike he can’t afford, you gonna buy it from him with 3k miles with at least 20% off retailing price. Or you can get it from a first hand owner, grandpa touring type who took his bike to service on time and respected every intervals while casually touring on weekends and keeping it safe in a garage.
      And you get the roadster or sports bike owner who always revs it without letting the engine getting to temperature, does stunt and has no time nor money for proper service.

    100-0km should not be in seconds but in METERS.. and anti-brake system should never help you
    "while braking, don't forget to use the clutch...." FALSE !!!! you NEVER NEVER NNEEEEEEVER USE THE CLUTH IF YOU WANT TO DO AN EMERGENCY BRAKE ! you have to use your clutch only when you're about to stop.

    • @2lbsTrigrPull
      @2lbsTrigrPull Před 3 lety +1

      Reason for that? In driving school we learned to use the clutch during emergency braking and evasive maneuvers. If you don't grab the clutch during emergency braking your engine will stall if you come to a stop. You give "advice" without giving any brackground to it and that's not good.
