Nottingham To Skegness In 4 min 37 sec

- Time lapse of my 82.5 mile journey from Nottingham to Skegness, it normally takes me around 2 hours but because of some traffic and a lorry tyre blow out it took me 2 hours 20 mins. Which reduced our average speed to 35mph. I was travelling in our Fiat Panda 4x4 0.9 Twinair, filmed on my Apeman A80 action cam.

watched in full, reminded me of the trench scene from star wars episode 4 in parts lol, 2.10 was a bad queue and you and the mondeo (i think, silver biggish car at 3.35) seemed to be in a race of your own until another queue. Liked it though , something different, i think i nearly had a siezure (not sure how to spell it) looking for the rainbow but didn't see it.

@@asc24hoth The rainbow was towards the end as we were driving into Skegness, never found the pot of gold though! 😊 The pace of the video was a bit frantic, I was experimenting with the time lapse settings and got it a bit too fast, I filmed the return journey at a quick but more relaxed pace, might upload that one.

Enjoyed the video I was looking for familiar landmarks along your route. I made a few similar videos on a drive through the Alps in the summer.👍👍
It turned out a bit faster than I thought, I adjusted the time lapse settings on the way back and got it a bit less frantic!
The video start is near Lidl going up Redhill, then I take the A614 then onto the A617 out towards Kelham, onto the A17 past RAF Cranwell, heading towards Sleaford, as I go around Sleaford on the A17 I take the first junction on the left signed Skegness which takes you onto the A153, past Tattershall lakes and castle, past RAF Coningsby, then take the A155 past Revesby Abbey, past East Kirby and the Lancaster museum, onto the A16 past Spilsby then take the A158 into Skegness. The video ended at the entrance to Tesco just past the train station. 👍😎
