Just for refrence, the thumbnail for this video is Forza Horizon 4 concept art. There's no photos, videos of this new game yet so I thought an older FH Concept Art would at least make some sense (and look better than my face on the thumbnail) 😅

What about Test Drive Unlimited Races. I loved it in the first one. Only a bunch of races you had. Only if you finished them you unlocked more races. Some restricted to a special manufacturer, so you had to buy (or rent) a car of that brand to move on. Customising your Interior. Choosing between different Rims from the manufacturer.
It was a Racing MMO. I loved it. Restricted to the parking spaces in your house. If you don't have enough space, you need to buy a bigger house with more garages pace.
If you wanted to have a classic car you bought them from a dealer. I mean you bought every car from a dealer.
But the classic car dealer didn't had them avaiable all the time. Sometimes you had to wait for mulitple hours to get the car you want.
A Modern Test Drive Unlimited in Japan would be my dream. I had a lot of thoughts about my "Perfect Racing game" and I'm sure so many people would love it.

@Doctor_HB test drive is garbage so no. It has horrible arcade physics but no customization. Its need for speed without all the fun parts. So ya no u dont belong here.

I had that happen lot, the timing was right, but it was mostly because before i actually got affected by the elimination area for few seconds, i forgot myself that i already got affected, and then i exited the area when there was 2 seoncs countdown, & i got eliminated in final showdown, it happens, has nothing to do with skill issue

I just hope it doesn't have microtransactions like other open world racing games. But it being published by Amazon hopefully means they'll get a big licensing budget so they can put as many cars as they want in it.

Yea everything sounded great until "Amazon", bare minimum product rushed out the door with the only thing fully fleshed out being the MTX store, I'm sure the devs wont want that, but when you are held to ransom by a publisher they will have no choice.

I hope this studio scopes their first project appropriately and doesn't shoot for the moon like TDU SC did and miss. Developing a strong foundation with a game that's different but not necessarily trying to compete directly with titans like Horizon will go a long way to the long term success of this studio.

I think it would be sick to pick a base car and actually make it hard to get new parts and new cars so you like really get into customizing your car properly to change how it drives and you really fall in love with the vehicles and they’ll have so much personality

tbh all i want is a game like need for speed underground 2 with forza handling with a nice big map with cities etc and either full night or the option to play night only in multiplayer. still cant believe nfs unbound multiplayer doesnt have night mode in multiplayer freeroam....

I doubt it’ll happen, but all I really want from a racing game right now is an open world sim racing game. Forza Horizon is fun on controller, but I could never get it to drive right on my wheel. The heavy focus on narrative and characters we`re supposed to get attached to worries me, considering this is ultimately supposed to be an open world racer.
Also, they might have 60+ people and counting, but a AAA open world racing game is a massive undertaking, and I hope they aren`t biting off more than they can chew as a forst project

i think this is something the gaming community as a whole needs. xbox recently with all of their shenanigan's with shutting down studios. if this game ends up becoming a hit and a game that plays well gives us what we want. i think devs from other games may try and do the same thing and make a game that they actually listen to the people who buy their games.

I like the Tiggy camera, but I have to be honest: I'm not that enthused about the game considering it sounds like the focus will be on a story-driven narrative and forming a relationship with characters in the game. I'd much, much prefer the money and time be spent on getting the driving as perfect and fun as possible, a huge world with diverse biomes to explore, a vast array of vehicles to drive, and killing as many bugs in the code as possible.
If I want a story-driven narrative and forming a relationship with other characters, I'll play an RPG like Witcher or the other Horizon series (Zero Dawn/Forbidden West).
Hope its on PS5!
