- Individual Throttle Bodies sound AMAZING! I couldn't believe how loud these things are, they also look the part too. This Civic EK4 has been modified for regular track use with a B18C6 engine from the Integra Type R DC2 but it is still so clean and tidy. I want ITB's!

Cut bumpers are to keep from air getting trapped behind the car, who cares about the looks it’s functional for track use
Damn, I thought you misidentified the car as a preface until you showed the interior with the AC sliders instead of knobs! That front bumper and lip completely transforms the car. The entire build is perfection to be honest.
Again, thanks for the comment. I do get some people commenting as soon as they hear me say something which they think is incorrect until later in the video where they are proved otherwise so no worries, I get it a lot 👍👍

w202 pms depends if its the the jdm or the ukdm enginem jdm got 10bhp more from factory

just need a scooby type scoop for those intakes....nothing ricey ..but subtle and functional.
I notice the 10-60 time of 5.6 seconds. The EK9 Type R, which is more rare than Big Bird's teeth, is a 1.6 engine and does 0-60 in 5.7 seconds. Would be nice if somebody set up a franchise (similar to McDonald's) dedicated only to scraping under powered engines/chasis/brakes,springs, etc and replacing them with classic high performance setups all within a reasonable time frame (not months) and at prices very similar to buying a entry level 2017 Honda Civic.

i was wondering why it was still running the stock header even after all these mods. is that stock header just that good?

Didn't a stock Integra type r come with something like 190-195 bhp to begin with? 10-15 extra hours from itb's, exhaust and a remap doesn't sound like a whole lot.

Do not misunderstand me I like old Hondas (because news are stupid) but its an old car old technology old style old safety. Its nice how they stay good cars after many years but need to look forward for new ones. Dont stay behind people.
I agree with you that the safety is an issue but everything else about the car makes this a classic and just have a look at the classic car prices! Ridiculous for a car at the end of the day. I myself love and have a Civic EG but won't be driving it fast anywhere purely because of safety.

I really don't like the bumper like that too. Looks weird to me. The owner has changed this back to standard now though.
Mugen Twin Loop is the best exhaust.
Super expensive though which is a shame but it does make them rarer I suppose.

Small nitpick, isn't that the post-facelift? he mentioned the front end being pre-facelift, but I was pretty sure the post-facelift was that style with the two small pockets/foglight surrounds on each side.
Hi, this is a pre-facelift car but the owner has a J Blood bodykit all round. This could be why it may look like a facelift EK. Thanks for the comment :)

+SuperDigitalMe Hi, it is a lot of fun on track. There's a video of it in my channel going around Silverstone - 'Japfest 2016'.
The FK2 Type R is very quick for a 2.0 turbo engine and the chassis with the new electronics allow it to corner really well. Although it has lost the high revving, screaming nature that we have been used to in previous Type R's. But I suppose this is the only way to get faster and stay within emission regulations.
+PerformanceCars. emission regulations is a scam to justify factories to produce smaller engines (therefore reduce their building costs) and selling them at higher costs so you pay for a bigger 5/6 pot engine and get a 4l instead.. and in a few years those 2l turbo will be 1.6 probably and so on.. Lol

Why would he put the tow strap in the engine bay?
With the aftermarket bumper from J Blood, there is no hole for a tow eye/bolt to be fitted and he didn't want to cut his new bumper so he attached the strap to the suspension strut tower. Not a bad idea in my opinion.

EK4 what's the difference between that and a EK9?
ZF Drifting EK4 is not a Type R. EK9 is a Type R. From stock an EK4 has a B16a2 but an EK9 has a B16b which is better. There are also other changes i.e the EK9 has upgraded interior, exterior etc

It does look a bit funky. People do say it decreases drag but I would personally keep the bumper the way it is.

Hi, this is a custom colour so unfortunately there is no colour code. Honda's Thunder Grey does look quite similar though.
