Plus the Hellcat heavy as hell, got a good 500-800 lbs if not more on the Lexus. IS looks terrible, can’t go around corners, is impractical, a pain to drive around town.....yeah, that’s what I want in my garage. I love how all the wannabe racer boys here drool over a car like that and trash a reliable, good looking, practical, 700HP monster like the challenger. Most of the time that’s because they can’t afford a Hellcat or something comparable, but can afford to cobble together a “junkyard build” that won’t last very long, but is fast enough to win a few street races before it blows up. I guarantee if they could afford a 911 or a new ZL1, they would be driving that instead of an old IS with a “big turbo”.
So true, our hellcat on the flats in eco mode has given 29.5 mpg too! Heated and cooled seats, so much comfort. Sure you can build cars faster for less. But there is a reason so many videos are,blank vs hellcat.

Alternator, and water pump, one battery, Thats it. Must have been lucky? Btw, our hellcat has been trouble free,but still low mileage

Built vs bought. The Hellcats was purpose built for straight line from the factory. The is300 was built to do whatever you want to do to it. The price is not what is important, only the build is what is important. The hellcat set the benchmark and the Is300 surpassed it.
