This is the one soundsystem use to drop back in the 79-80'.... i bought his when i was just 13, in Hawkeye Records in Harlesden in shop ram jam with rastaman and soundman...i was only little and could just about see over the counter lol... but even as a young 13 year old i was a regular in that shop and i see every saturday the same people buying tune. It was rreally nice because on e rastaman told me when i bough this tune, he said i should make a soundsystem because he see i was not buying just any tune....but tune with meaning and weight and relevance.... from steppers to roots, i could only afford one record a week.....i'm now 55 and this music is more powerful than ever....CZcams is my time machine with all you beautiful posters posting childhood memories that really take me back to when i was 13 again.... My best friend daughter and her husband, Denise and Joseph Brown just had a baby boy...Joseph love old sound system reggae, none ah dis ragga muffin foolishness...I'm talking about Real roots rock reggae from way back when Reggae had a soul ( unlike today in my opinion) So he ask me what kind of name would a choose...I said well you love music with soul and meaning with power and relevance, me seh to him i gwarn send you a link to a tune that might inspire him and his wife...Well guess what people?...He ring me up and tell me the link i send him was this tune, he was so overwhelmed with what he heard he loved it so much him and his wife decided to call their new born son DENNIS!! Haha, divine intervention or what...RIP Dennis Brown...You still have power even though you're sadly not with us anymore.
