Really good to see the Chats doing so well Matt. I used to go and watch them when the Gills were away back in the mid to late 70s. Used to get the train to Chatham, and then walk up Maidstone Road. Good old days. Whilst at Maidstone printing college, i used to watch the Stones, when they were playing on a tuesday evening at their old stadium, and then ride my motorbike home to Rochester, riding up the old Bluebell Hill with no street lights. Those were the days. Now i know that you were born in Chatham. Did you go to school there. I went to Highfield Sec Mod. Got my o Levels and then did an apprenticeship. Fun days mate
Thanks Berlin Dave, that is quite a walk up from the train station to Chatham’s ground, long grinding hill. Yes I went to Walderslade Boys school, was Highfield the school at the end of Ordnance Street?

You got the bonus of me starting a chant of "we are top of the league" from right beside you when you were summing up. You should be able to work out which one I am as my avatar is scarily realistic for something drawn by a Viz cartoonist.
