Earthbound (as heard on NPR Radio) has been recorded on a Stuart and Son's piano and is due out on Fiona Joy Hawkins' new album 600 Years in a Moment This album is produced by Will Ackerman (Founder of Windham Hill) and Corin Nelsen - who also Engineers and mixes the album. It features the most contemporary piano in the world (which has 102 keys) with ancient instruments. Earthbound will stay solo. It was written after 2 years of creative desert, having recorded Blue Dream, Fiona went through a tough time in her life and Earthbound was her return. This pictorial includes pictures from the recording session along with other career highlights and landscape photos taken by Fiona. This video has already touched millions of people around the world.
This piece is a beautifully interwoven dialog between two voices, the voice on the ground a reflection of the voice in the sky. A gentle but constant reminder that while our spirits may soar, we remain, ultimately.... Earthbound. Bravo, Fiona!
Fiona is Amazing! on all levels, Her music speaks from the heart to your soul. Her beautiful music has touched my heart in so many ways and has comforted me through some of the darkest times of my life. I find a comfort in her playing that I have never heard before. all I can say is,..... Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

I am truly mesmerised. This peice of music has created such a stir - I heard it on NPR and just had to find it.............. I had no idea how many wonderful tracks and albums you have written and am truly in awe of your music. I just ordered Blue Dream but I'm sad that this new peice won't be released until October - how can we wait this long!!!
This reminds me of my childhood when my mother used to play soothing piano songs at night when all the kids were in bed =)

@kdlamberton Hi and thanks for asking about the new album. I'm actually working on three (mad!) and 600 Years in a Moment won't be released till the end of this year. I'm hoping to get LIVE at the Q out by June and Christmas Joy out by November. This is a year for writing and come October I'll spend 12 months releasing and promoting. This about reaching out from far away and making contact with the planet and trying to live with two feet firmly on the ground after a surreal experience with a difficult time in my life. I also recorded it recently under another name (Calling Earth) and recorded it with vocals as an Angel choir. I recorded this song in two takes and had to leave the recording studio because I was crying too much. I'm amazed you cant hear the tears hitting the keys - my fingers were almost slipping.

Hi Fiona, a question for you, Hm, Do you resonate to the 432 Hz...or the 440 Hz.? ...it's important to know the difference.....WHY.? because, 432 Hz is universal music the sounds we recognize because we are of the stars.......!!! I have a link which explains better....
