    Such a great informational video. Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge and taking the time to educate us! Quick question...can you sublimate on dark poly garments? If so, would you have to worry about dye migration? Thank you!

    • @BELLACANVASOFFICIAL
      @BELLACANVASOFFICIAL  Před 6 lety +1

      Glad you enjoyed! Sublimation is a technique that only works on light colored garments. When you see a dark shirt that is sublimated, that means that the entire (white) fabric was sublimated with dark ink, Hope that helps!

    Hi Bella Canvas. I wanted to compare the quality of the printing techniques on the fabrics you mentioned and was wondering -- is there a recommended "test"/archetype graphic that I should use? I was thinking of making a graphic that has a color wheel, a picture and some text, but I figured there might already be a standard for this in the industry.

    • @BELLACANVASOFFICIAL
      @BELLACANVASOFFICIAL  Před 6 lety

      We haven't seen anything like that, but it might exist somewhere. There is a common graphic used for DTG testing that is basically a bunch of Pantone squares so you can see how each color would turn out on the fabric. Cool idea!

    I'm confused whether I'll go with Heat Transfer or Screen Printing on 100% cotton. Please help. (My priority is with which method stays longer over time) PS. Excuse my English 🌚.

      Hi Liam! Both heat transfer and screen printing are great methods when printing on our garments and will yield to a long life for your printed product.

    • @BELLACANVASOFFICIAL
      @BELLACANVASOFFICIAL  Před 2 lety

      Hi there! You could really use any technique other than sublimation. If you DTG printing you'll just want to make sure you're putting a white under base layer down first. Also screen printing won't give you any troubles.

    Dear Bella Canvas,
    First of all I like to appreciate your work, these videos are very informative. Thanks for all the videos.
    Can you please let me know the 'Fabric' , 'Printing method' , 'Ink' being used by popular brand like Wrangler (for t shirt where they claim its 'made of 100% cotton' ).
    And please let me know which 'combination' works best for 100% cotton.
    Thanks in advance!!

    • @BELLACANVASOFFICIAL
      @BELLACANVASOFFICIAL  Před 6 lety +2

      Hi Jagan - thanks for that feedback! We're not sure for Wrangler in particular, but screen printing or DTG are the two most common print techniques for 100% cotton. Screen printing is more cost effective for large volume orders and smaller runs can be better suited for DTG. Hope that helps!

    Good/Great documentation.
    I'm old school print by hand, book it.
    Sound like DTG is lame, might scratch off by hand, WTF?
    Get in the game, screenprint like it counts.

    Please can you reshoot this video, remove the echo to hear you clearly, slow down what you're saying to understand you better & identify the different fabrics more clearly (you're talking about different fabrics and inks next to each other but only showing info for one etc). I've watched you in others and when interviewing people, this isn't a problem but you're being under the spotlight seems to make you more nervous and speed everything up. I only ask as I think this is a great info video on physically seeing the results of all the printing methods across a range of fabrics that's invaluable. I've tried with subtitles but I can't read and see which you mean and the results at the same time and understand. Thank you - loving all the channel help, guides, info etc - very helpful.

      Hi There! Is there a specific fabric or technique that you have a question on? We shot this in our showroom, and unfortunately that's the reason there is an echo. Check out this blog post which covers everything in the video: blog.bellacanvas.com/ultimate-printing-guide/

      Thx, I have already. I'll try and make a subtitle file lol. Please don't take what I say the wrong way, it's just a lot of info that's very useful, and put side by side with say The Dream Junction video's, I can hear and follow everything in those. No, there's nothing specific because it's all required knowledge.
