      You have to regard this as the hotel's contribution to responsible drinking. Afterall, if you can't afford more than a couple of cocktails without bankrupting yourself, then that's all to the good...

      I mean, their cocktails are around 20 pound. That's only around twice as much as a normal bars price. Paying twice the price to get the worlds best, doesn't seem absurd.

    Mad how none of them can say "Connaught" correctly. No one from Connaught would actually drink here.

      Not entirely convinced that the hotel was built with the rural Irish market uppermost in mind. Was originally named the Coburg but was changed during First World War to sound less German.

    Someone told me that the Connaught red room is a lesbian feminist bar… but surprised it would be in this hotel!
