@@GS-ex9sg no there not. I’ve owned 6 Rovers, the HSE, SVR and autobiography models. Now have had two X5M comps, and I would never go back to a RR. There is zero difference in luxury, interior is better in the BMW and the X5M exterior is supreme by far over a Rover. The ride quality goes to the Rover, but your comparing a sports car that’s lifted to a slower SUV. One is a straight beast! The Rover not so much. 0-60 in 3.6 seconds vs 5.0 seconds is not even comparable. BMW X5M for the win all day everyday. 👊🏻
I'm going to miss being able to choose the harshness of the gear changes now that the DCT has been abandoned. I loved being able to take my foot off the brake and roll back a bit and such, felt like a manual. I have to say though, the shove from my M850i is hard enough, it almost feels like a DCT. I don't know how they do it. Frickin Germans.
According to research in North America, BMW 4,4 litre is one of most unreliable engine in the market. Better choose the straight 6 engine with bigger turbos.
Again great car but ...... exhaust sound needs an overhaul , and are you kidding me there’s still a rear windshield wiper hanger off of the back end of car !!! Nobody wants to see that ! Incorporate it into the rear spoiler , like the American manufacturing does . So glad my sexy X6m competition doesn’t have that eye sore haggis of the back .
