- Hello my friends, Today is a special day because today 36 years ago reactor number four in Chernobyl exploded at 1:23 am. Until this special date, I finished the second part of my Chernobyl diorama. It was the most awesome project I have ever done. I hope you like it. This diorama is inspired by the scene of the HBO series Chernobyl, where General Pikalov drives to the reactor to determine the true amount of radiation. Here he returned and explained that the true amount of radiation is not 3,6 roentgen/h but about 15000 roentgen/h.
For the diorama I used the two ICM kits Chernobyl #1 and #4.
In this Video, I show you, how I made the asphalt, scratch-built the trees, created the forest floor, painted the figures and made an awesome foam effect.

I just stumbled apon your channel and was suprised that you didnt have at least 1m subs you deserve way more than 5k.
Thank you very much Gianna! But there are a lot of model builders with such subscriber numbers that deserve much more! :)
Brilliant work! Because of your Chernobyl builds I have gone back and watched the mini series again! I’m going to pick up these kits as well. Again, great videos and masterly built and finished!
Thank you very much for your kind words! I really appreciate it! And nice, the miniseries is one of my all-time favorite series :D . And I wish much success with these great kits! :)
Beautiful work , it's been a joy watching you build this from start to finish, such skill and patience amazing 👏
Thank you very much for your interest and your Kind words ☺️
Superb work my friend. One of the best dios I have seen for a while. One to be proud of
Thank you very much for your kind words my friend! ☺️
Diorama - just SUPER!
Thank you very much. I really appreciate it! :)
Yet again you have delivered a very realistic and atmospheric Chernobyl diorama,,your attention to detail is excellent, i really like the layout of the truck and the interaction of the figures,,you can be very proud of your work.looking forward to your next project already 😀 👍
Thank you very much for your kind words and your support every time ☺️
Wonderful work, beautiful scenery and figures!
As Always, thank you very much for your kind words! ☺️
stunning again. I just started my rubble cleaners diorama and using some of your advice with a few bits of my own inspiration as I go.
Thank you very much for your kind words, I wish you a lot of fun and a good success with the Rubble cleaners. ☺️
Excellent, great work and a very special idea!!
Thank you very much! 😊
Really a fantastic and realistic artwork this diorama . Far away a splendid tribute . Top noch work with the ground , trees , road and figures . Your work with the shack and the the conifer tree really got my attention . Will applied this 3 statistic grass steps in my next pine tree creation . One again bravo for this masterpiece ! Robert
Thank you very much for your comment, support and kind words! ☺️
@@ModeliteDiorama you are welcome !
This is by far the most impressive one 🤯
Thank you ☺️
Awesome Build Thank you
Thank you again ☺️
Great work 🤟🏼👊🏼
Thank you!!
Top👌👌👌
Vielen lieben Dank! ☺️
Thank you very much for your valuable Feedback!
I Made the raincoats shiny because I own an original ABC raincoat from the former East German Army (NVA) in the DDR from the Same time Period which is shiny and thought that it could be the same with the ones from chernobyl.
For the Rest, thank you for your Feedback!
Excellent build! Bought this kit a month ago, but yet to start it.
Cats just inside the door of the shed. Love it!
Thank you very much for your kind words! And I wish you a lot of fun with this great Kit ☺️. And yess perfect, you are right! 🎉🎉
@@ModeliteDiorama always had a fascination with Chernobyl / Pripyat. I was 15 years old at the time. The reports were surreal for us (Australia).
Can't wait to see your next build!
This is a great diorama
Thank you very much. I really appreciate it! :)

100% love your great sharing!~ my friend~ Stay healthy & Safe ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Thank you again ☺️✌🏼
looks really good how have you not got more subs
Thank you very much, I guess there are just a lot of great modelers out there on CZcams who do very good work, so it's not easy to get attention. But I'm constantly working hard on increasing my model building quality as well as video quality to make the channel more successful ☺️
The cat is looking outside from the adjacent doors to the station. 😂
Haha you are right! 🎉🎊🥳
@@ModeliteDiorama did I won a trip to Czarnobyl?
@@stacjaemigracja Yes you have now been selected to go to the reactor with a high power dose meter and measure the actual radiation dose 😂
@@ModeliteDiorama 🥳
Your trees are too perfect 😄 they stand out a bit, imho. Pity you didn’t paint them brown to give that “red forest” look. Great job 👍🏻
Thank you very much for your comment ☺️ and ah you mean they look too unharmed? Yes, maybe 😁, actually I experimented with red and orange pigments on the trees but I wasn't satisfied with the result and therefore I let them like this 😁
The cat is in that little hut with the door open
Yes you are right! 🤗
Oct. 15, 2022----Thanks for showing off your build. Never thought of using a backdrop on a diorama before. Got back into modeling but going for realistic 1/35 scale zombie/apocalypse dioramas. No Mad Max stuff. Right now working on scenes taking place in America but no doubt there's fat English, French, etc. people will be devoured which is why I keep looking at that Russian truck. Convert it into a survival vehicle with a wood stove, etc.
Haha okay, have fun! I wish you much success with your projects! :)
Beautiful work 😍 and i found the little Kitty cat 🐈he is hidden behind the door of the shed 😉
Haha you are right! 🎉🎊☺️ Thank you for your comment and nice words!☺️
Sehr gut gelungen!

We have a winner here! You are right 🎉🎉😀
@@ModeliteDiorama i was looking so hard among the vegetation; glad it's a white cat, much easier to spot
I have only seen this a year later and it's amazing! Also I found the cat, it's inside of the shack behind the door. Hehe.
Edit: Grammar, also more Chernobyl-based dioramas? Like the night of the disaster, or current day.?
Thank you very much! And yes you are right! :)
@@ModeliteDiorama How did you reply after like 3 years?!
I've been waiting all year for the 3.6 anniversary
This coincidence with the 3.6 roentgen I have only noticed through your comment :D

@@ModeliteDiorama Verstanden, habe ich schon befürchtet. Aber Danke für die Antwort
I spotted the Soviet Cat in shed... Too bad some user beaten me to it
Haha nice! Thank you for your comment again ☺️
@@ModeliteDiorama no problem
hi😀
Hi ☺️✌🏼
@@ModeliteDiorama this video build or show figures ?
@@dungroblox9647 Hello, everything from this build is in the video. It shows how the ground, the road, the trees, the cottage, the figures as well as the effects were made. And that's why it's very long. About 45 minutes, but despite the length, it is, in my opinion, the best project as well as video that I have ever made. In the end, I also tried to stage the project cinematically, using sounds and conversations from the series "Chernobyl".
Looking forward to your new diorama, 😀

but nuclear power will stop global warming.
Of course there are advantages to nuclear power, but the disadvantages outweigh the advantages. Nuclear power plants are very low in CO2 emissions during operation, but the production and final storage of the fuel uranium, for example, is also very harmful to the climate. But nuclear waste is of course the biggest problem. 40,000 generations or people in one Million years after us will have to deal with this. And the Cheronobyl reactor accident showed how humans can come as close as possible to opening a gate to hell
@@ModeliteDioramathe Chernobyl accident was more the fault of soviet poor control and construction than the fault of nuclear power, and for the safety of nuclear generators there are many new types that produce very little nuclear waste, which in its self the nuclear wasn't isn't deadly as it placed into concrete cylinders with lead cores and doesn't have and leaks and is mostly place deep underground where it isn't a harm to anything, and some power plants are built to reuse the waste as even more fuel
