I just love that you always thoroughly scrape everything out of your pans and bowls. Drives me crazy when people leave so much behind because they don’t scrape it.
I think they do. But off camera. For efficiency purposes.
I love love love these long videos but I know that it’s a lot of work so Thank you!
That drives me crazy as well!!😂😂
I was thinking the same thing. It really drives me nuts as well. I yell at the TV lol, scrape the bowl .
That’s SO funny; I have a CZcams channel and I’ve had people make the same comment. Gotta be thorough! 😄
A tip for caramelizing onions. Add water and cover and let it cook on high heat until it softens and is translucent then take the lid off and cook stirring occasionally. When the water is just about gone, add butter and melt then lower the heat and proceed as usual. Will cut the time in half if not more!!! And you can use way less butter
I will try this way next time. Thanks 😊
That’s a great tip!
You can also speed up the “caramelization” by sprinkling a little sugar on your onions.
This makes so much sense!
@@jamieparrish5143I do that too I also use olive or avocado oil so I can use less butter and still have the flavor.
Becky, I've been following you since about the time you started your channel and I must say that you've developed such a natural ease and grace in your presentations! You've developed a professional manner without losing your real personalty, which I think is hard to do. Congratulations!
I was thinking the same thing!
You're not a messy cook, it's just you are accommodating holding the pan as you pour, so we can view the process. I think we all give CZcamsers grace for that aspect. Have a blessed day!!
Oh thank you!
A ginormous pan at that!
Yes you are absolutely right about giving grace for that. Becky is definitely a messy cook though lol
Becky is not a messy cook look at her kitchen at any given moment it's cleaner than most anyone's I know. She has a scattered style sometimes but it works!
@@hnhardin1217 I was going to say that she is a messy cook just like me. Lol! Love Becky!
I love how down to earth you are. It is so refreshing to watch your videos. You are a natural in the kitchen and when you talk to the camera! Food network needs you! 😊
Aw thanks so much!
Best comment and so very true 😊
No, food network would not let her be who she really is. Let's keep her all to ourselves. Love her dearly.
She needs to teach Paula Deen how to cook without stopping everytime she talks y'all, and she needs to teach Paula to stop sucking on her fingers and then handling food with those same fingers.
@@ercieberwick1513Paula is making that food for her family so who really cares! Paula has changed a lot since she got cancelled
How you move between tasks, keep it all going and organized, while talking to us is amazing! It's almost a kitchen ballet when you meal prep!
Becky, you continue to impress me with your skills, ingenuity and ability to work extremely hard. You have no idea how much joy you have brought me since I first subscribed. Your expression when you taste your cooking lifts my spirit and I smile the biggest smile ever!😁You are so precious to your community here and don’t ever change as we love you just the way you are 😘
Amen! And don’t edit any of it out! You’re amazing!
Thanks so much 😊
I second what she said, your awesome!!
Me too. You are awesome
She's definitely amazing I agree
Taquitos are made with corn tortillas and Flautas are made with flour tortillas. A lot of people don’t know the difference so just sharing that 👍🏻
las flautas tanbien son de tortilla de maiz dependiendo del lugar
- coming from a Latina, no. Lol taquitos just means “small taco”, it can be either flour or corn, just folded in half then baked or fried.
Floutas are rolled then fried, also corn.
Becky's on!! Get snacks :D
Ha! I ended up having peanut butter cookies and a banana. She made me hungry.
I had made her s’mores bars a little while back and individually froze them. Popped one in the oven to snack on while watching Becky 😂
Im so behind on Becky, life has hit hard these last few weeks, 😢 i feel so lost 😅
Good idea, especially when she is cooking. I have chocolate covered digestive biscuits (type of British cookie) and chip sticks 😊
I love this! 😂
There's not many channels out there that actually say they Appreciate their Subscribers and that warms my heart! Thank you Becky and Thank you for your Kindness!!
It means the world to me that you all are here! If you didn't show up then I won't be able to do what I do for a living! It's a real blessing!
Becky, I couldn’t wait to tell you how you inspired me today.
I was baking a carrot cake and as I went to make the cream cheese frosting, I realized I’m out of powdered sugar! Oh no! But then I remembered you taught me how to make my own brown sugar, so why couldn’t I make powdered sugar too… And I did! I made powdered sugar and my frosting turned out amazing.
You’re never too old to learn how to do things and you constantly inspire me to learn to make as much as I can, “from scratch”.
So thank you Becky dear. You’re awesome! 💝
I hope your editor doesn’t cut out your wonderfully quirky reactions that we love so much. ❤️🥰❤️. Smiling happy Becky, you are a delight! You are such an inspiration to all!

Becky, I'm so glad you're not afraid of seasonings. Nobody has time for unseasoned food!!
I have been cleaning all day after a hard week. Our first long term foster placement went home last Friday it’s what we pray for, for the kids but it’s still hard. I decided today was the day to get ready for our next placement whenever that happens. I am wore out and so happy to have your video to watch.
May the Lord bless you and strengthen you .
You are a good soul! God blesses you!
You are doing such a kindness to the children you foster ❤
Whew! That’s a lot! Take a rest!
Om goodness, thank you for all you do. May your heart be healed.
I recommend getting a trash can for your kitchen that you use your foot to open the lid. That should help keep your dogs out of the trash while you're busy cooking, but still make it easy for you to use without needing hands.
Use oatmeal instead of bread crumbs it absorbs flavors so well.
I have been watching your videos for some time now but it was the instapot lid falling that convinced me I could not miss a single video going forward. New subscriber gained by the authenticity behind your videos. You are an inspiration.
I love all of your videos but I think the big freezer meal days are my favorite. Thanks for sharing.
First off, I love your summertime nails polish color! Secondly, HOW can you be so organized to get 10+ meals going at once? I'm lucky to get 3 freezer meals at one time. You are amazing Becky. We ALL love you ❤️ 😘
Especially different proteins. I’ll do a shredded chicken day and make like 5-10 recipes that use shredded chicken (I’ll buy 4 Costco chicken and break them down. Becomes like 12+ lbs cooked chicken. I make my meals in 8x8 pans so my family can decide if we have the same meal together as two pans or if we do 2 different meals since sometimes some want taco pasta and some want stroganoff etc
She spends all free time gardening and cooking. I had two boys 15 months apart. Was always taking them to the park and beach picnicking. We lived in SAN Francisco. All free time went to the boys. Those days with them was well spent. No do overs.
@@ellenbacigalupi3767honestly it’s more like she spends her work days cooking and gardening. She’s a working mom. We don’t see her free time. You tube is her job.
I was also noticing her nail color. Really pretty!
I wouldn't even attempt 5 meals going at once let alone 10. I have to focus too much on the recipe. I guess that says something about my cooking skills. 😔
I feel like I'm watching a cooking show. I love your videos Becky! I especially enjoy these bulk cooking videos.
I feel so satisfied watching today..please make more and more 1 hour videos Becky..we love you 🌹
Been inspired to dig out my old cookbooks given to me by my mom with recipes older than me and watching Becky gives me the motivation I need to step out of my comfort zone and try new things. Can't wait to try some of these recipes
Love that! Thanks for being here!
Me too!❤
Yes, I am thinking of my old Blue Ball canning book. I've had it for a lifetime of canning 41:34 & preserving. Over 60 years
We make breakfast sandwiches with Costco’s croissants with ham & Cheese. They freeze really well!

A cookie scoop to make meatballs!? I need to try that! Oh wow I'm excited!
Looks like another wonderful day in your kitchen , thank you for having us along Becky...
Hi Becky love watching your massive cooking days. You inspired me to make 3 batches of cookies this morning using 2 of your recipes and one for English lemon shortbread, Do you think you could investigate using personal microphone as i find it hard to hear you sometimes. Thanks for you channel its so lovely. Kim xx
I used to actually make chicken stroganoff for my kids while they were growing up, and they loved it. It's very similar to Tetrazzini, but with egg noodles and no cheese. So good.
Becky, I have never seen your channel, but today I found you to be completely Amazing. I admire you for all you do. I'm 80 years old, couldn't ever been able to what you do. Please rest awhile and eat some dinner tonight 😅.Best wishes,Thank you ❤
soooo close to half a million! come on you guys. If you watch you should be subscribed! We all absolutely love Becky so show her some of that love!!
When I’m not spending the whole day in my kitchen, I enjoy spending time with you in your kitchen! You blow my mind on how efficient you are! I’ve been working on these skills in my little kitchen, thank you for sharing your genius with us:)
I need closure. Where is the octagon cast iron that Josh got you?! Lol
Becky is what I would call a "dump and pour" cook. My mom was one and she also added love. That's why we often find that when we cook Mom's recipe, it's not the same. This is only with non-baking recipes. You have to measure baking. But love is still magically added. Becky is that type of cook.
I love these long videos, especially when you are in the kitchen cooking away. I still miss sitting in the kitchen and watching my mother cook while I watched or chatted away with her. So these videos make me feel like I'm at home with her again especially since my family moved far away. Thank you for all the wonderful content and keep up the amazing work with cooking, gardening, etc. 🥰
Becky and all. While we still are barbecueing, Another youtuber I watch, Brian Lagerstrom, did a vid about grilling kabobs and his major tip was to have all the meat seperate from all the veggies because the meat always takes longer than the vegetables. I thought this was a brilliant strategy/ Hope this is useful to someone out there ...hugs Jim
I agree!
If it wasn't for big cooking days like this, I probably wouldn't cook. Thanks for the recipes.
I love watching you cook! It wears me out and when you say you're so tired then I can relate because I've had cooking days and being so tired you can barely move. But girl, I have never done what you've done here. My busy kitchen days is making chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, veggies and a few deserts. And I'm beat. But you're a lot younger than me and when I was your age I could never pull off what you've done. I'm very impressed. But I love seeing what you're going to cook. Plus, you grow everything you're cooking! Where do you get the energy? Well, keep doing what you're doing and God Bless.
Burritos consisting of a flour tortilla wrapped into a sealed cylindrical shape around various ingredients.
The anatomy of the taco consists of a tortilla (usually corn), followed by a stew, accompanied with onion, chopped cilantro and lemon, as well as some sauce, which varies in its pitch to the taste of the diner.
A taquito or flauta is a Mexican food dish that typically consists of a small rolled-up tortilla that contains filling, including beef, cheese or chicken and frying it.
Her kitchen her way, I enjoy every thing she does. I'm 84 can no longer stand to cook. Got my daughter a instant she made her first stew, it tasted like it cooked all day. I also cooked from scratch, like my Mom. ALOHA
@@nancyollis1049 I’m really sorry didn’t try to offend her. I totally agree her kitchen her way. I was just advising what it’s call. Actually today I was inspired to make this taquitos and came out really delicious!! Mahalo!!!😊
Becky, my son and I were binge watching Master Chef yesterday. I couldn't help but think how amazing you would be on there with your cooking skills and palate. ❤❤
I love your cooking videos. Glad to see you making freezer meals again. Yes it’s a hard loss, what happened with your freezer before. I think getting started rebuilding is the hardest part, and your freezer looks great now! Opportunistic pups, making off with a half croissant! 😂 I just love your facial expressions. And your endless patience. Spilled cracker crumbs, oh well, the chickens will enjoy them! You’re so genuine, always a treat to watch your videos. Thanks Becky!
I am a 67-year-old mom and grandma and I adore watching you! I love that you make mistakes and I don’t understand why you are not a chef. I am getting ready to try some of your recipes. Wish me luck.
I just stumbled upon your channel after hearing Jamerill Stewart from Large Family Table rant and rave about your videos! I got inspired and freezer meal prepped all day today... 5 hours later... oops! Just want to say that I love your positive energy and motivating content. I hope you smile today!
I love the look when you taste your creations.😊
Becky, I love your videos, and do get a lot of great ideas for recipes from you. So I hope you will receive this in the way it is intended. I don't mean to be critical, and I am not trying to be rude. But. I'm a proofreader, so I when I hear something that is incorrect either in grammar or pronunciation, it's hard for me to hear anything else. I am not perfect though, and I'm well aware that I too make mistakes. It's not a big thing at all, but if I had your job with the same huge number of viewers as you, I would sure want to know if I was making a mistake, even a small one. So here I go again: A marinade is a mixture in which you coat, rest and cook other foods. To marinate something is the act of doing so.
Becky, I usually see the comments like Im about to write & think theyre super corny, but I'm going to be that person now... lol. Because the fact that you have a newborn, a full time, an almost full time job doing CZcams, a huge garden, & you are still cooking all these freezer meals so that your family has healthy meals 3 times a day is mindblowing! At this point in the summer I can barely keep the momentum up to keep up with the garden & harvesting just enough for FRESH EATING! I also work full time & have a CZcams channel & small cutflower business, but STILL! 👏 You're killing it!
I like how you cook!! You remind me of me, and we would cook well together....open a spice container or ingredient and dump (no need to measure), and you scrap your bowls/pans and don't waste any bit of food and flavors. Also love how you use an already used skillet or pan! Love that others use these time and money saving methods too. And you don't over edit out some of the everyday hiccups that occur to all of us. You are quick and efficient. It show that it truly doesn't take long to cook at home. Keep up the good work. 😋
Thank you for taking us along and including us in your day! I love all your videos! Sending all the blessings to you and your family!
Thank you for adjusting the sound! Much easier to enjoy while doing the dishes tonight, and didn't have to turn the sound up and down and up and down!
Looking forward to making some of these freezer meals soon!
I just know her house smells amazing on the days she does these big batch cooks!
Becky, thanks for taking the time to film these. I am sick in bed. I have some G.I. issues and I really can’t eat. So I eat vicariously through you or videos. Pretending that I’m cooking these recipes for my own family. You’re the best.
I made a dairy free version of your tetrazzini last fall with leftover turkey and it was AMAZING! It is a favorite freezer meal in my house. The other big hit is a curry you made so long ago. I freeze it in 1 or 2 cup portions with my souper cubes for a quick and lazy dinner for one or two people.
Gurl, I just luv your recipes. You give so many more ideas for meals. Being Mexican we call those Flautas and taquitos would be made with corn tortillas. Bit it also depends on which region of Mexico your at. Either way they are definitely delicious 😋 byeeee
One time my dtr had a 5 # package of steaks thawing on the stove. My granddaughter has a Great Dane. Oh, yeah, she easily was able to reach the steaks and what she didn't eat the other dogs were grateful for.
I found myself audibly saying about 45 minutes into this video "Yeah I love this woman" and subscribing. I love to cook, and I really like seeing all the flavors you put together and how well you compose your meals. Beyond just that you are just so delightful. Hearing you talk about the dogs stealing the top, and how you would do it too actually made me giggle. When the opportunity strikes!
I saved this video for today I wanted my full attention on it🤗.
I’m a very plain cook but I get inspired so much watching you in your kitchen.
So I’m going for it 😂 I have my list of ingredients for tomorrow morning…fingers crossed.
Your frozen meals are better than any I have seen , you are so passionate as well.
Take care x
Love seeing your pups in the kitchen waiting for something to fall for them to snatch up. Haven't seen them for a long time.
Well today they grabbed a croissant. 😅 Maybe they don’t belong in the kitchen when preparing meals!
I think it's adorable that one of them has learned to be a little stinker 😂
@@miephoexYeah, last time it was some of the savory waffles. They’re cute, but it kind of grossed me out to have them in the kitchen while preparing food. Dog hair flooring around, etc.
@@BrandiNNiNiYes until he accidentally grabs some chocolate. Animals don’t belong in the kitchen. I know they’re cute but his bad habit of sneaking food off the counter is an accident waiting to happen.
Becky, your channel is my favorite cooking CZcams channel! My family loves all your recipes and I've learned so much from you. Thank you!!
I've been in the moving process the last month, from California to South Carolina, nice house to apartment so I don't have the space for too many freezer meals, but as soon as my new kitchen is together I'll be back in that game small time. Two kids and a husband demand good food and a lot of it haha. Dealing with hurricane weather meant a crock pot dinner! Rain always means good food. I'm slowly catching up on all videos! Good treat after a day of unpacking and organizing! ❤
Becky, you could even blend your pink sauce and have it as a soup.
Here in San Diego County, we call flour tortillas rolls - flautas. Your recipe looks soo delicious.
You're doing a great job restocking your freezer.
Next is more ginger shots!
I was thinking that it looked like a great tomato soup! Before all the cheese. 😂
Thanks becky for all you do for us I really mean it. You put a lot of your heart and your soul into this, you are an amazing person
Becky, as usual you are a dynamo in the kitchen! A small piece of advice, maybe if you move things in off the edge of the counter a little more the dogs would be less tempted - I noticed that you often have your stuff right on the edge, or even hanging off a bit, and I get so nervous for you thinking "that will fall any minute".
Omg I’m dying laughing when the dog took the croissant top! So relatable!
Hi Becky and friends! Freezer meal videos are my clients favorite to watch and sometime to try and duplicate 😊
Simply loved this hour long cooking session. My favourite is definitely the bulk freezer prep days. I don't know where you get the energy. Almighty bless you and this beautiful community ❤
I made your beef roll ups. Instead of shredded beef, I used ground beef and followed your recipe. I filled 20 tortillas, we had 4 for dinner, and I got to package 4 bags of 4 roll up for freezer dinners later. Thank you, they were delicious. 😊
I love that you made so many meals in one day to freeze and can get your kitchen cleaned. Work hard one day so you can have meals ready for other days. thank you for sharing your videos with us!
Always love your videos! They make me feel like we're just chillin' in the kitchen and cooking together- the best. Plus I learn a lot of great tips and it gives me more confidence to just enjoy my kitchen. You go girl!
I probably would have left the mozzarella out of the sauce and only put it on the top of the rigatoni pink sauce dish.
Becky, please read this comment. I love your cooking video’s. But how do you control the calories you consume? All the freezer meals are high fat and carbs. Can you plan a series that are more vegetable heavy with a protein. Keep up the great videos. Love watching, just want a different slant on your freezer meals! 😊
You and Josh are such a great couple. 🥰 He's so lucky to have wife who cooks for him.
Yay!!! Let me get my tea and I’m taking a fun break to watch this!
I hope you enjoy it!
If you’re ever going to make the croissant breakfast without freezing it, Arby’s used to do these, except they put butter and pepper on it and grilled the cut sides. So good!!
Love how you live life on the edge 😂😂😂 filling those pot to the edge…. I’m here bitting my nails screaming… is gonna spill to my iPad ❤❤❤❤❤
Chipotle is a flavour , the item you cut up is the pepper
The taquitos look fat as burritos 😂
Instead of giving away eggs, waterglass a gallon or more to be sure you have enough for cook days or winter cooking
I love ya, but that sure looked like a half cup of salt, not a tablespoon lol
Becky, your videos are terrific. I would just ask if you could please increase the volume especially when you are in the kitchen. Thanks much!
If you ever have a cooking class, I would attend hands down. I mean it helps that I live near Vancouver and I would travel anywhere to learn from you!
Try adding dill to your breakfast sandwiches. I was on a business trip with my boss and we were driving so whipped into McDonalds. She asked for extra dill on her breakfast sandwhich😳. I didn’t know they put dill on their breakfast sandwiches but I’ve been adding it to mine ever since and it’s yummy!
Thanks again for all the recipes. I will be adding them to my list for my grand daughter to take back to college on Monday. You’re awesome. ❤❤
Love your huge cooking days!!💙💙
Yum…..cheese, and more cheese ….please ! Love you Becky! Love that you appreciate cooking with lots of cheese!
Beautiful pups hilarious facial expressions watching the breakfast croissants with dreams of how deeply one needs to go in immediately!
That’s called a burrito 😂. Mexico makes taquitos with corn tortillas. Taquitos have about a fourth of those ingredients and are deep fried. Yummy! I make a fresh avocado dip for them. 😋😋😋You never seem to read the complete recipe before starting and then discover either an ingredient you don’t have available or you’ve made an error! Does that work for you? Just asking! It would drive me crazy! 😅🤣
Notification 🎉🎉🎉 Yes i can watch Becky cooking my favorite kind of video
Good evening friends from Hungary
YAY!! So glad you enjoy them!
I love your channel. You are so comfortable in the kitchen and so a joy to watch! Did you grow up in the kitchen!? Hugs. You’re great! - a 73 yr old fan. 💕🙏🏻
Hey Josh, hoping you always make sure she has fresh flowers every week.
You just AMAZE ME!!! Everything sounds soooo yummy!!!!
Great Video , I enjoy all your videos but really enjoy these ones as they give me so many ideas. I made your breakfast burritos and some of your marinated chicken recipes and the family loved them. I see a couple more recipes here I will have to try. Thank you for taking the time to share this with us. Have a blessed day
I'm so sad. I've been watching you since before 50K subscribers. It's been such a joy to watch you grow, especially with the new additions that you've added. I've noticed that, for months now, I haven't been able to hear you. I watch while working and so I have the video up all the way to be able to hear you, which is still very low. I can't turn my computer volume up too much more because my work notifications come in way too loud and annoy those around me (and scares me). It's the same way when you do the voice overs, which come in a lot louder than the video. I'm trying to get caught up while watching on my phone, but the screen is too small for my old eyes to enjoy. Have you changed your mic? Or stopped using an additional mic? Anyway, It's just been a joy to follow you on your journey. Take Care.
These recipes look sooo good. I love to watch you batch cook. I am learning lots from you!!
Fantastic job Becky 🥰🥰🥰
Love your new website !!! Great job Josh!
YAY! I'll tell Josh you said that! He worked so hard on it!
I tried the link to it, but I get an error message. How do you access it?
I stumbled across your CZcams channel a few months ago and I am beyond hooked. You absolutely amazed me! I am 58 and I've been cooking since I was 11 and I am astonished on how much you do in one day and have a homestead with a huge garden and a baby. I enjoy watching all of your prepped meals you put in the freezer you have inspired me Beyond. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us! ❤❤❤
I make taquitos with corn tortillas. El milagro brand specifically if you can find them. They are fantastic. I’ve never tried baking them, I always fry them. I learned to make them by watching a woman from Honduras make them. In Honduras they top them differently than I do mine. I put thinly sliced cabbage, queso fresco or mozzarella, diced tomatoes, onions if you like, taco sauce, or tomato sauce with onions peppers and a bit of sugar. They’re wonderful.
Becky when Josh comes home must be his favourite time of day ti see u and the smell of the yummy food u mad ! And the bundle of joy ❤
Due to food allergies I can adapt some of the recipes you do for my family, but not all. Doesn't stop me from watching them all! I always use Panco to top my Tetrazzini and never have trouble with them. I also dice my chicken or Turkey meat as my family all say it tastes better than shredded. You'll have to give it a try sometime.
My question is... have you ever done a video on how you prep and store your garlic. I'd love to know. I love garlic in nearly everything and a lot. It's just a pain peeling an entire head at the time I'm ready to cook. I'm amazed how large your dishes are. Getting older our portions have shrunk and I'm no fan of leftovers. Also where do you purchase your herbs and seasoning in such large quantities. I'd love that. Mind you I'm in Montana, near Canada. I have to send for many things. I'm used to California, then Salt Lake City. I've been here 3.5 years. My Hubby loves his home state. Not me. I love the country but a large town closer than 7 to 9 hours would be great. We do have a Costco though that I belong to. I love to cook. Now I devote my time to Art and my crafting in my Studio.
I recently found your CZcams videos and I'm definitely enjoying them. I would love to see how you organize your freezer meals in the freezer. Nothing worse than putting a meal in the freezer "for later" and finding it buried long after its best before date. What are your tips and tricks for organizing your prepped meals?
