2023 Teacher Driver Award | Elaine Owen

A champion of the life lessons and values that can germinate by growing food and learning about agriculture, Elaine Owen puts the growing in growing connections. The recipient of the 2023 AITC-M Teacher Driver Award, Elaine teaches Grade 6 at Miami School - a K-12 institution 100 miles southwest of Winnipeg. She’s widely known in Miami for her passion for gardening and teaching her students about how agriculture connects our economy and society. Congratulations, Elaine!
