Another thing I’d recommend is making sure your clutches are nice and clean, you can scuff them with scotch brite to get them smooth and then clean with a clean cloth or blow off with air.
Thanks for the video I just did mine last night but I was in such a rush I didn't pay attention to the direction of the belt. So I don't know if its correct. The service manual makes it sound like its a directional belt, I don't think it matters, how about you? From the manual "Loop belt around driven clutch. Install belt so numbers can be read from front of vehicle looking rearward"
Great video. Thank you. Do you happen to know if the starter clutch is behind the primary? I have to change mine. My starter just spins, won’t engage. I changed the starter and it’s doing the same thing so I have to go inside.
i think i might need to change mine. it has normal reverse, but it won’t go over 5mph in forward but will go all the way to full rpm. put it up last night driving fine, and not it won’t work. pretty sure i might’ve blown the trans or messed up the clutch
My daughter was riding hers fine and we heard a similar noice now it won't go forward or back but the rps rev all the way you think it can be the belt also??

Yep more than likely. Same thing hers did.

I'm doing this right now on a 2017 I just bought for my daughter...weird how you have to take the whole damn thing apart just to change a belt!
