I love that he just headbuts you and says "huh?". He really does know you're not feeling well, and he gives you all the kisses and stuff, but when you don't respond he's like "Huh? HUH? HUH?" and it is the sweetest thing!
How can anyone sleep through that noise though?
It's like he has a microphone. You can almost hear the reverb off the walls.
I agree but he is so loud I know Tamara had to be dead asleep in realm sleep. This is my fav video I think. Hes showing so much love to her like a dog would when they sence you dont feel good. Cant tell me this bird don't know. Love Kiwi 🥝!

He's doin that for a nest to show he can. Believe it or not my canary used to rag toilet roll and drop it in front of the bay window in the front room and go in the blinds. Great. Miss you Tommy the wonder canary x

Just love the phrases you taught him and it shows he does, too. They fit his personality and precious heart so well. It also emulates the personality and heart of his owner. Animals and birds can generally detect when you're not yourself or feeling under the weather. Their concern is heart warming when they stay by your side like he does while you were recouping and resting.

Aww! Hope you feel better soon! As a parrot owner myself, I can strongly relate. When you're sick, it is nearly impossible to get rest and peace when you have a parrot. They really do monopolize all of your time.

My indian ringneck was the sweetest little cuddle bug ever! If I was not feeling well either emotionally or physically, he would not leave my side. He would just cuddle and make the sweetest little noises. I have a dove now (rescued, fell out of the nest at a few days old, parents didn't care either) he is the same - not a cuddle bug though but will sit either on me or just by my side. He is free flighted, goes where he wants and can go outside anytime he wants. But chooses to stay inside with me when I'm not feeling well. Birds are the best!!!

When I had my own Kiwi, I was sick with a flu bug and my ringeck had to go to the vet to be treated for an infection. We were both sick but we had each other.
