- 藁で出来たうさぎ用のトンネルハウス買いました。ハウスとして使うというよりは、噛んで齧ってホリホリして壊す！そしてストレス発散になる事が目的です。ハウスとして使ってくれる子もいると思いますがウチの子はもっぱら解体しています。このハウスも1日で崩壊してしまいましたσ(^_^;)

食べるので面白くなって百均でもかごをいくつか買ってゲージに入れたの思い出しました。
うちの🐰は１ヶ月かかってウサギチグラに7-8㎝の穴開けるのがやっとです。トンネルも作れません。

私解体屋でございます。しかし、張り切り過ぎて精魂尽き果てて動けない誰かママちゃんパパさんお姉ちゃんこのスペースから私を救って下さい。🐰💦💧お水かかって冷たい💧
Perfect tunnel/burrow for a bunny. The problem is the rest. Bunnies don't belong in cages. But I you feel they must spend some time in one, then changes should really be made. Not being critical, just trying to raise awareness and educate. You more than likely were told by the pet store that this was the best for your bunny. But unfortunately their job is not to educate, but to sell you as much as possible. First wire bottoms cause damage to rabbit paws, they can even break them. Next, the litterbox is too small and again wires. There is nowhere near enough hay. He should have access to 5+ times more than that. In fact that container is meant for pellets. But they should only get 1/4 cup of pellets per day. I usually give 1/8 in morning and the other 1/8 at night. Then the water bottle. Bunnies should drink from a bowl or fountain. The angle of the bottle is awkward for him, and they become contaminated with bacteria that is hard to get rid of when trying to clean it. Then the heating pad. Rabbits do not need heating pads. Cooling pads in the summer yes. A disk that has been frozen for example. But this is dangerous, because the exposed wire is right there in the cage. One bite could result in your bunny being severely hurt. Either a burned mouth, or electrocution, which of course can be fatal. . If all of those items are removed, a newspaper or pee pad on the bottom, and 1/4 of the cage full of hay, with the rest a paper bedding or shredded papers, that would be much better. Best to put the hay on the same side as most of the urine you see now, which I imagine is the back left where the current litterbox is. So the hay would then be at the front of the left side. Since it's at the front you can put some grass mats or cardboard on the "walls" to avoid it falling on the floor outside the cage. The rest of the space leave open with the paper based bedding. This will give him room to stretch out at least. Because now he does not have that option. Once you are okay with him being completely free roam 24/7 then the top cage part can be removed and the bottom becomes the litterbox. For less of a mess, a covered cat litter box is great. There is also the litterbox/hay rack combination. This is what I use for my boys. They drink out of a fountain, which is great for bunnies who aren't drinking enough water. My second boy Frosty came from a shelter and has s urinary issue where his body produces more than normal calcium. There tends to be a buildup in his bladder. I used to give him IV fluids when he first came home. But once he had full access and could drink out of the fountain he drinks so much more water than he used to. Anyway I'm sorry if this comes acr6as judgment, it is not intended that way. Its just that bunnies are still not greatly understood, even in North America.
