    I’m 10 days out from this, getting better. It affected my sleep really bad-I couldn’t breathe out of my nose. Looking online it’s as though you’ll be back in fighting shape in two days. I just wanted to let people know, it’s not terrible, yet don’t expect to feel great, or sleep great for about 7-10 days afterwards.

    Dr. I just had the procedure. Plus, some nasal wall stents. My doc was great and said I’d be stuffy afterwards. I didn’t realize I’d be for a week after. I’m using Afrin and the Navage to mitigate. But, you mentioned the stuffiness would “turn the corner “ after a week. The whole point was to stop the Afrin! But, my head feels significantly better after chronic infections and whatnot. Ty for the video.

    Mine went wonderfully! I’m about 24 hours out. Bled all yesterday afternoon and into the evening. But not a scary amount. Even before the bandage came off, if I pulled it away a tiny bit, I could feel cool air coming up thru my nostrils. Hubby had his done two weeks ago. For him he never bled much from the nose but when he did his first rinse the next morning, lots of blood and clots came out. As for me I had blood on the nose bandage all day yesterday, but when I did the nose rinse this morning there was no blood at all. So I guess the blood can purge right away or the next day.
    My sinuses really hurt the first three hours after surgery, just like a bad sinus headache. Per their usual procedure they gave me tramadol (for pain) before I left the surgery center but it took a long time to start working. Once it kicked in I was good. Late afternoon I took two Tylenol and did fine. I didn’t even need to take any more pain killer to get me thru the night! Now is the next morning and I feel fabulous. Yeah my nose feels stuffy and if I bend over at all my nose runs but when stuff comes out of my nose it’s just barely pink, mostly clear. I did sneeze TONS this morning before I did the rinse. So for me now imm24 hours out and I have ZERO pain…ZERO. My husband had the exact same experience regarding pain. Hurts like a really bad sinus headache for about three hours then by the early evening no more pain at all.
    Our family doctor referred us to this place…we couldn’t be happier.

    I just had the procedure 4 days ago. First night was great with no pain but then both nostrils got plugged to point of the worst cold I have had. However each day it has gotten better. It's weird. One nostril opens then closes then the other one opens. What really works besides all the sinus rinses is popping your nose over a steam humidifier. Clears everything out in a few minutes. Also I bought a menthol inhaler that helps to the point of forcing a sneeze which also opens things up. Tomorrow the 5th day I go in for my checkup. Hopefully all will be good news but I can tell you that first day was great. My blockage was gone now I just need to let the body heal.

      @@Getlost55 I just got it done last Friday, today being the Monday right after. So far so good. I can breath a whole lot better, but like he said in the video there is still slight congestion. We'll see how it ends up after a couple weeks. My doctor also said that it will take a couple weeks for the nasal ways to really open up, that what I am able to feel now will only keep improving. So far my right nostril is 100%, I could literally chug a drink through it haha, it's absolutely clear no issues breathing at all, even with me having bad allergies right now. My left nostril is lagging behind, have a bit of an issue getting good clean air flow in it. It's only been a couple days though sense surgery so I can't really worry as of now. I will say though, it's worth it. Trust me. I have a couple co-workers who have had it done and the end result for them was huge. Have heard nothing but good feedback so far, and so far my experience has been good. It didn't hurt, didn't have to take any pain meds at all. Anyways, hope this helps. Good luck with your journey :)

      @@richardwheelerrw It was a walk in the park. They put me to sleep and I woke up and it was all done, didn't experience any pains. At least nothing more than super mild like 1 out of 10 scale. I believe he also corrected a deviated septum that I had in my nose during the same surgery. I had to do a checkup a week or two after that and he ended up numbing my nose and using this tool that carves out some of the inner part of your nose to widen it some, b/c I just have such narrow passageways. But the main procedure was the balloon sinuplasty surgery which was the main thing that I benefited from. But as far as pain goes, my personal experience it was very mild, was no problem at all.

  • @AdamGbl95

    What is the risk for empty nose syndrome (ENS)? My ENT wants to perform the baloon procedure for my deviated septum, but I hear all this stuff about ENS and how bad it is, and that most docts ignore it or don't understand the risk of it...

    • @Anti-leftist7777
      @Anti-leftist7777 Před rokem +2

      Don’t take the risk unless it is your last hope and you have researched the side effects of the surgery completely, if things go south you will HIGHLY regret it.
      After 4 months I am better but no positive results, I still get throughly clogged while sleeping. The whole point of going through with this was to sleep without a stuffed nose, my loss.
