Hollywood Revival? Candace Cameron Bure on Jesus Invading Hollywood

- Actress Candace Cameron Bure continues to bring hope, faith, and love to Hollywood. From her roots in "Full House" to her creativity in executive producing projects like the Unsung Hero movie - a film about the real-life journey of For King and Country (Joel Smallbone and Luke Smallbone) and Rebecca St. James - Bure is on a mission to tell important stories while entertaining the masses. In a recent interview with CBN News, she shared her passion for positive, uplifting entertainment, and explained what it's been like to watch more and more people in Hollywood embrace - or at least show interest - in Jesus.
"Wonder Years" star Danica McKellar is just one of the actors who came to faith after Bure personally shared Scripture with her. "It's pretty incredible from the people that I've walked hand-in-hand with and encouraged along the way," Bure said. "And just to have a small part of knowing that I planted a seed, or maybe spoke a word that encouraged them along to become a believer - or strengthen their faith in Christ."
In the end, she said this is deeply inspiring and one of the most profound of purposes. "It humbles me that God would use me," Bure said, expressing gratitude that God allows her to use her voice to help bring others to faith. "I give Him such great thanks for allowing me to use my voice and not be fearful of it - to not sit scared to tell my friends about Jesus." The "Fuller House" star said she often receives messages through social media that thank her for speaking out, noting she is "humbled" and encouraged to persist in speaking out about biblical truth.
Bure also discussed why, for much of her career, she stayed away from Christian films, explaining they had a bad reputation due to weak quality. But, in recent years, she said she's been blown away by how artistic and powerful these movies have become. "Within the last, I would say five years, the quality is incredible," she said. "It's like people of faith are coming out of the woodwork." Our church rented out two theatres for our church to watch this movie. It was wonderful!

Not my area they had trashy movies unfortunately my area doesn't seem to get Christian movies). Ugh lot of the times to far or it is 45-over an hour drive I have given trying ). Or my mom & I get sick or my mom gets sick or someone gets in the ER my area sucks 😿.

I am far more aware of the “demonic inclusions” Hollywood “intentionally” place into many of their films, that I won’t see anymore. In addition, the minute I hear Blaspheming towards Jesus Christ in Hollywood movies, I switch off! This happens continuously and is all part of the “Hollywood demonic agenda”. Great shame on the Actors who also participate in that, they’re destroying their own salvation!!

Unfortunately my area movie theater didn't have it). Nope garbage movies I have given up going to the theater in my area either woke or trash. They re” 45 min or over an hour drive it was on a week night Friday had darn head cold ❄️.

I stopped watching movies, including "Christian" ones. People are bewitched by the the "holy wood" which is actually a wizard's wand.

I watched this with interest but have to say "Passion of the Christ" was state-of-the-art and changed many lives and minds for the better about Christian films and especially Christianity itself. In my opinion that film was the prototype for the great Christian films and programming we enjoy today. Have been a huge fan of For King and Country for about 10 years and couldn't be happier for their success.
Unsung Hero is a fantastic movie! Highly reccomend!

I struggle to find good movies with a real story to find these days that come out of Hollywood. It seems they ran out of stories to tell. I believe if they turn back to Jesus we will get woderfull stories again without woke agendas.

My county movie theater didn't show her movie unfortunately ). Last time was 4 years ago which was Jeremy Camp's movie which was March 2020 since then not another Christian movie has shown up in my area which is very sad 😿.

I loved most of her interview but at the end it comes out that now that they can make money out of the Christian films, now they're going to be involved in it. Whereas if they have been brave enough to be involved in it from the beginning they wouldn't have seemed like grade c movies. Why does a Christian movie have to have to match the cinematic quality of not the quality of the actors is what you're after you're just after the message of Jesus.b but I understand that if you want secular people to come see your movies then they've got to step up their game.
