Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0! Sleek and compact. Like a Micro M&P 2.0.

- Yes, it's really small. Feels like a baby M&P. It's a new Smith & Wesson Bodyguard and redesigned. No built in laser like the original, double stack capacity, and still .380 ACP.
Bro either that gun is tiny or you are Andre the giant?? Holy sheeet, no way you can even get your finger in the trigger guard without pulling the trigger 😂
It looks like a 1:2 replica of a m&p 2.0 compact in his hands.
it is a pretty tiny gun but holy hell that dudes hands are giant lmaoooo
Came to say the SAME THING 😂
Both
lol 😂
Ruger design team didn’t sleep this week.
Dudes finger is the size of the gun, holy smokes he’s Sasquatch
this the body guard i've been waiting for i've always wanted a double stack version with some upgrades looks like they finally came to their senses finally
Bro Glock needs to step their game up
Glock 42, Glock 43
@@qjames0077neither of which have a 12 round capacity.
@@randymoreno9345Glock 42 while being wider and taller but holding less(6)380 than this new S&W (10/12) the Glock is superior in that it has a barrel length of 3.25in to S&W’s 2.75in.
@@JohnDoe-gn4xjdoesn't really make that much of a difference in a self-defense piece like this. Let's face it you're not taking this thing to a competitive shooting event on the Range😮
Glock has done everything they could do with a Glock lol what else do we want from them?!
Didn't know I needed one! ✌️
That's a Great little pistol right there
It's available with a thumb safety too.
this thing is tinier than a shield plus holy moly
its just a little bit bigger than the original shied. the shied is a bigger size because sits a different class, its sub compact. this is considered micro
@@Letsallparty2This Bodyguard 2.0 is *MUCH* smaller than the original shield
@@RandomWrongDeletion You are correct sir
@@Letsallparty2I think you mean the original bodyguard
I have the lcp max definitely going to add this
I still think the LCP Max is superior for deep concealment and Pocket carry, just cannot be beat. This is a good-looking gun though, very cool.
@@aaroncavazos9371why do you think this? They seem to be the same height, just longer muzzle of the m&p. Honestly just curious to your beliefs
Yea how is that?
@@aaroncavazos9371 I already had the max, and I just picked this up. The smith feels way better in your hand and the trigger is a lot better.
Like to see it in 32 .come full circle .
On the list for sure 😊
Love it!
Would be nice to see the 12rd mag in with the bigger hand
LCP Max is super snappy. It hurt like hell. I had one and got rid of it. I wonder how this one does.
Looking at videos being shot, it looks like it isn’t snappy and almost no muzzle flip
God I want that gun
It’s tiny. I want one
CZ Shadow 2 would look like a subcompact in your hands mate 😁👍
I want a Shield and M&P 2.0 Compact comparison with this one
That's what I have (not the subcompact shield, just the regular compact)
As a Glock owner, I give this a 9.9 out of 10
that would be perfect for the lady that wants protection but does not have room for the bulk.
Bro u make that gun look like a toy 😂
It looks like someone put the *Shield Plus* too close to it's little _step-pistol,_ the Original BG! 😂
I want that
Nice-looking little gun however I would like a little bit bigger grip size as well as 9 mm instead of 380. MSRP??
New gun will probably have some problems, I'm going to wait before i buy one,
I need
Well I know what my wife is getting for Christmas.
Insider baby
Awaiting the 2.1 version, the one with the optic cut. Like the small Sig p365 .380 has.
A gun this size can't have any existing optic cut, it's too small. Only option would be a rear sight dovetail adapter
It would have to be a proprietary optic because the slide is too narrow at top to accept any existing optic. This is a pocket banger for up close and personal protection.
Why in the hell would you put an optic on a pocket pistol? Im serious. The entire purpose of this gun is to be compact and you want to make it bigger?
Possible to attach accessories? Laser sight? Etc.
Glock needs to step their game down.
What does everyone think about this gun? Thinking about getting 1 for things like jogging, at gym things like that inside fanny pack. REALLY WANT FEED BACK. THANKS EVERYONE.
I’m thinking exactly the same thing, seems like it’s definitely gonna provide some utility
BUY IT! IM SURE YOU WILL LOVE IT!
Pull it out at the Krusty Crab, then you'll get your feedback ....
Bring it up with manufactured crimson laser
It looks like a person with big hands would be in for a lot of slide bite😢
Top 😊
Looks like Smith&wesson did a good job on this one. Anyone know price?
$399,00😊
$359.99 at RK Guns. $399.00 everywhere else.
@@nealevans8409 thanks 🙏 my local shop is $419.00 plus Tax
There’s a new bodyguard.380 s&w
Whys the barrel pointing towards the sky?
Browning tilting lock system...like most non-blowback handguns...
Nice
Awaiting version 2.1, the one with the optic cut like the p365 .380
@@rcollins1202This gun is a lot smaller than every p365 and they literally don’t make optics that have a small enough footprint to fit on it
@@rcollins1202Your gonna be waiting a loooong time
Make it in 9 with an 11 flush capacity and you got yourself a sale. Although, I’ll take the 380 for the ladies. So, do it in 9 w/ 11+ and you have two sales…
By look of your hands Bro you need Nlaw atgm for edc😂
How can one buy dis?
Watched Sootch review, he must be a tiny guy the gun looked bigger in his hands lol
So I have baby hands
Yep,the new kid on the block that took away the title from the LCP Max
Is the slide easier to rack than most small 380's?
No, its not that easy to rack.
Is it single or, double action?
Striker fired, system from M&P 2.0
I know it's small, but your hands make it look smaller 😢
Would this be smaller enough from a sheild plus to comfortably pocket carry? And please save me "pocket carry isnt optimal". Carrying isnt optimal! Better this in my pocket than the 10mm on my nightstand when im out and about.
This is comparable to the LCP Max. I have the Max and the shield plus. The difference in size is significant, and the Max is *much* easier to put in a pocket.
It’s designed with pocket carry in mind, and it’s considerably smaller than the Shield Plus.
@@RandomWrongDeletion nice! Can't wait!
Perfect for pocket carry. Love this gun. I was about to buy a glock 43 and saw this....read a few reviews and now couldnt be happier. The most perfect pocket carry ever. Ive had LCP and Bodyguard 1.0(hated the trigger).
@nealevans8409 sounds good, thank u. I'm just going to wait a year or two before buying one. I just like to see how products work out the kinks, if any. 😉
Plus +P rated?
Need
Wait until all the recalls.
That’s a s&w not a sig lmao
I have a m&p 9 full size and a shield never had any issues with a s&w 🤷
@@danielnahme7865 I think he meant sig bc m&p hasn’t had a recall in years
I already have 1k rounds through mine and not ONE malfunction. Remember this is S&W not sig😂😂
At this point of view and with your hands its look like a toy
Too small I'll carry the czp 10 c any day
No thumb safety is odd for a Bodyguard.
You can choose ts or nts
Why in the hell would you want a safety on a carry gun?
@@skoolynugenator1802why not? You can train with it to disable it in your draw and if you choose not to use it, you don’t have to and you can just leave it off
One less thing to worry about when drawing your firearm
@@rodrigodiaz1321 you can also just never engage it and it would be the same. You do you at the end of the day it’s a personal preference thing, personally I’ve just never seen the downside to having one as I can choose whether or not I’d like to use it
The only thing I wish S&W had done differently with this gun is make the extractor removal easier. I don't like having to hammer out roll pins when I want to clean behind the extractor every 1000 rounds. I know most people don't shoot that many rounds in guns like this, but I do because I handload my own ammo and I like doing a thorough cleaning after every 1000 approximate rounds fired. Glock makes it very easy to do a detailed strip removing every single part. I just wish other companies would take that into consideration a little more when designing a gun.
Nobody wants to hear your bullsheet on every channel. You can’t afford one anyway
Stop shooting cast lead , dummy
I'll stick to the 3 inch barrel hellcat, or the 3.7 inch barrel hellcat pro.
380 is a women weapon
No.
Too small for my hands. nice gun though.
lol how cute half a gun
3.5 pound trigger. Sticking with original.
Don’t care about the box being in shot. Redo and zoom in on gun.
For my first gun I’m stuck between 43x mos and this one.
better than lcp max?
Doubt it
Better in every single way, loads of comparison videos out at this point and they all show BG 2.0 beats the breaks off of LCP Max, but there’s a LOT of salty LCP Max owners in the comments
@@RandomWrongDeletion held one in store and i ended up leaving with it
@@GlockFanboy45LCP max is snappy asf. My bodyguard barley snaps, I could rapid fire this thing so accurately it’s insane
@@TonySoprano-on5iu yea got one now this thing shoots very nice!
