The world is predatory in general. Gangs and criminals prey on young people to help commit crimes because they know they will get less time because of their age. They also play on the unawareness. What Eboni is advising them to do is needed because a lot of the young people find themselves in these situations due to their naiveness being used against them. Being tough with a weapon is different than being tough with just physical strength and that’s all you have in prison. It’s a lot of horrific things happening in these prisons the young boys need to know how to snitch (remember the fleece Johnson story). Overall they need to just stop being involved in criminal activity!!!

It's a street thing, a mob thing, a law enforcement thing and a government thing. It's frowned upon in all of those things just different names, snitching, ratting, treason, even in law enforcement you become an outcast for telling on one of your own. Even civilians won't tell on family members for certain things. The only difference is in every case it's about covering your behind, in the streets it's about integrity. That's the reason for not telling.
