"The Wolves will always come to heel when called. In that regard, it is a mystery why they name themselves wolves. They are tame, collared by the Emperor, obeying his every whim. But a wolf doesn't behave that way. Only a dog does. That is why we are the Eaters of Worlds, and the War Hounds no longer." - Kharn the Bloody
That makes no sense whatsoever
@@charliebowen5071 No, it actually make sense from the World Eaters POV.
@@sztachu no. It doesn't... the words are English... side by side like here they make no sense. Self contradicting and stupid
@@charliebowen5071 "The Wolves will always come to heel when called.
@@charliebowen5071 He was calling out the Space wolves for being the Emperor's executioners. The War Hounds turned into berserkers under Angron (IIRC, before they were a bit more civilized and controlled) and the Space Wolves became restrained. So they mocked the "Wolves" for being leashed and behaving, while the world eaters (formerly War Hounds) were unrestrained and brutal.
Pete: I don't want to do a chain axe
Also Pete: *gives him an axe...wraps it in chain*
😂
No he didn't, he wrapped the wrist in chain.... Which doesnt make any sense. The cain is meant to be used to keep the axe in the users hand so that he couldn't be disarmed.
@@lionrussell47 I get that you meant it as a pun. But no chain axe, instead an axe wrapped in chain works. But what I'm saying is that the model had an axe and it had some chain
@@DrewSan11 What was attempted here was clearly above your comprehension level :S
@@nikpapado9785 again, I get the line. Buy this is like saying: I don't want to give him a boot knife..... Hahahaha, how funny, how witty, we gave him boots and we also gave him a knife.
I hope everyone giving me flak about this is wearing a jacket, at least that way it's Flak Jackets, oh how immensely humorous.
That's the level of smart you're using.
My point was this: if the axed had been chained to his arm (not just chain on the arm) it would have been funny, no chain axe, instead a chained axe! See, that's smart humour. Or is that beyond your comprehension level?
@@DrewSan11 Its amazing on how dense you are. Repeating my words are not an effective way of showing you did not miss the joke, it just shows how far over your head it went.
And today we have learned again that shaving the aquila off a primaris' chest make the overall look better
The Adeptus Mechanicus could save themselves a lot of time if they just didn't bother adding it in the first place.
@@PeteTheWargamer but Space Marines are suckers for tradition so on the chest they shall stay.
Yeah, what’s up with that?
That heresy hurts 💔
Casual heresy ehh
I'd love to see you do all 18 of the original legions in primaris style to be fair, but as that's a ton of work, the traitor legions would be awesome
Conversion video: exists
Pete: "I'll try pinning, that's a good trick!"
“This is where the kitbashing begins.”
Now THIS is kitbashing!
I love this comment and its chain so much
Primaris iron warriors.. I mean silver skulls 💀👀
Barabas Dantioch is Chad
You can't hide your iron from me!
primaris emperor's children- i mean sons of the phoenix
I've got some nice bitz that are perfect for some Loyalist IW too
@@PeteTheWargamer mk III tactical squad gets used again?
pete could make a primaris army where every miniature is of a different faction // That means that Pete accidentally invented the Deathwatch
My Space Marine Chapter are loyalist World Eaters, i named them Brothers of Rage. Great conversion!
Cool! What their backstory?
@@boneman-calciumenjoyer8290 there origin is lost in the past. But they are known for there preference for brutal and swift mele attacks. Some say the first Chaptermaster fought in the Heresy alongside the Blackshields.
@@WandelnderGeck Custom chapters tend to be clusterf*cks when it comes to fluff comparability. But yours is short and simple, I like it.
@@boneman-calciumenjoyer8290 thanks
Perfect pose on this model for the aesthetic you were going for! Good on you, Pete, you’ve outdone yourself again
Thank you, the Assault Intercessor kit really opened up the Primaris line to some much better poses.
Loyalist Death Guard would be awesome, I love their pre-heresy scheme. Plus scythes are always cool.
You've probably had a million requests on how to do it, but how to convert a "Soul Haunters" (ThunderWulfen's custom chapter) marine would be awesome.
Oh you definitely have to do loyalist Word Bearers next!
This is really something. I'd love to see the painting tutorial on this guy.
Not sure if you've done them before but I'd really love to see you do Chaos Salamanders, like the Dragon Warriors chapter!
Primaris Word Bearers next!
Imperial Heralds!
Imperial dog!
Nightbringer kit bash? The necron players need simple tutorials for that guy
Can you do conversions for the legions in the Dornian heresy. It’s space marines and it would be like this content. A hard on would be a sleneshi white scars
I love this! I'd love to see that Alpha Legion Primaris one revisted and maybe painted one of these days!
I'm waiting on two builds: Exodites and Rainbow Warriors in true RT style, just modernized!!
Good work with what is by far the best Legion.
I assume you've seen the various Aztec/Mesoamerica interpretations of the Rainbow Warriors?
@@voland6846 I simply haven't had the time, will have a look as and when.
Great video, I hope you continue this series would love to see primaris Night Lords
Always loved the War hounds. my own space marines are Loyalist World eaters :D
Would love to see some Primaris Word Bearers!
absolutely, an Instagram artist called lemoots did a take on that, looks awesome
Great vid! Love the 30k War Hounds/World Eaters! Gives me some inspiration for my own 30k World Eaters army :D
Is there a how to paint video coming for this guy? He looks so damn good
I was not into conversions before, but watching you do some of the more straightforward weapon swaps and parts made me feel confident enough to manage it. Now looking to convert some House Delaque gangers into a Haemonculus & Wracks for my drukhari force. Also bashing together some CSM stuff using Nighthaunt bits!
WOW!!! 😮😮😮 This is the true Berzerker!!! I just can't wait for painting video of Him 🙂
My Homebrew chapter is based on the idea of loyalist world eaters, so this conversion comes right up my alley
It’s a good day when we get a new conversion video :)
I'd love to see loyalist marines sporting chain axes. the closest we ever got was thechaos terminator chainaxes from the old metal models which could just about pass because they lacked the chaos trim round the edges
I love this! These and the custom cultists are some of my favorite things I’ve seen on your channel! The artistry is amazing and the calm simple explanation has an almost Bob Ross feel!
Very beautiful work as always. Personally I’d love to see your take on a loyalist Thousand Son. They’re easily one of the most interesting traitor legions.
They're my next project, too
Isn't that the Blood Ravens?
@@WelshMullet that's one theory, yes. The other is that any loyalist Sons joined the Grey Knights when they were founded
@@recurvestickerdragon It's generally accepted that both are true. Some loyalist sons almost certainly ended up in the GK.
@@kalashnikovdevil Nice
I have kinda done something similar with my homebrew chapter named the Convalescent Sons, they are loyalist Death Guard. Name might be a little on the nose because Convalescent means "(of a person) recovering from an illness or operation."
What's their lore?
I love it!!
I have had the idea to do this since you did your first ones and now you have shown me a way to do it! Thank you!!
Great conversion! Feel like your painting has leveled up with this one too!
Would love to see your paint process too! I've just started on a kitbash/scratchbuilt ork warboss and finding it wasn't as easy as I first thought
I love your kitbashes and paintjobs! I'd love to see how you made that base!
A video like this for the Night Lords would be awesome
Just fantastic. Now I want to make some of these guys.
Man this looks so good!
Love your content and its what i have on in the background while i work. I would love to see your take on a converted Thunder Warrior.
I love the loyalist versions of the traitor legions!
I love how Pete is one of the best painters on CZcams yet most of his content is kitbashing. I do really love his paint jobs and kitbashes, removing the Aquila on space marine armor makes it look a lot more practical and less ornamental which I love
Been waiting for a vid all week 🤙🏻🔥 great one well worth a wait
He looks great and those 3rd party bits are excellent. Love the head you chose!
More stupendous work brother!
bloody fantastic, mate. Looks awesome :)
Great job!
Awesome work on this guy my friend
I tried shaving a primaris chest for the first time today.
Looks great, gonna kitbash myself a
Gaelic warrior astartes! 🇮🇪
Hey! That's my army concept there :')
Hope that you'll make more of this serie :)
I would love to ask if possible to see the Lunar Wolves (Though Pre-Horus) which would look amazing having seen the rest of your kitbashing videos! Honestly makes me believe I would be able to as a beginner to kitbashing, I love your vids and find them to not only be interesting but incredibly educational (for the abilities of kitbashing) please keep up the amazing content and have an awesome day man!
Oh man, I don't really know what it is but i love this idea and conversion! :)
Those shoulder pads are a work of art
Can’t wait to see you in future use the liber daemonica kits for impulsor and the kits for Repulsor
Guilliman when examining the paperwork of the new Primaris chapters: "Hmm....the War Hounds, I feel like I've heard that name before, meh whatever *stamps approved*"
You know, I've never thought of making a guiding line to center a pin vise before. I've always had to eye it out every time. I wonder if that'll work well at a smaller scale, maybe with something other than a pencil...
I love that shouldrs and helmet. I hope one day can do something like that on print 3d
Great job
It great watching these tutorials, very helpful 👍🏻
Happy to hear that!
"Chain axes to closely linked to chaos space marines"
Carcharodons: I beg your pardon?
I loved the Liber daemonica bits, thanks for introducing me to them, the resin part is kinda annoying, but the sculpts are really detailed and sharp. I bought a few helmets, shoulder pads, shields and spears, everything was perfect, other than the spears being a little bend, but nothing you cant fix
Glad you like them! Resin is a little harder to work with than plastic but their parts are surprisingly easy to clean and their level of detail is totally worth it.
love these they are a great inspiration
Pete this is an excellent conversion! I have a VERY similar army and now I’m worried i’ll be labeled a copycat lol, would love to see your white recipe
absolutely awesome job on this one! How I think it would be good to see you do a loyalists gone traitor, so salamanders or raven guard gone traitor and give them a cool back story. that would be awesome!
Do you have a guide up for the paint yet? would love to know how you did the metallics, pretty stunning!
Primaris Thousand sons iffin ya have any ideas. Hell of a job on the world eater my man, keep inspiring people.
I'd like to see you convert some traitor versions of the loyalist legions too
time for my daily reminder to use the sacred pinning technique
LOVE THIS MODEL
War hounds, luna wolves, space wolves, you'd think the emperor wanted a dog really bad or something. Anyway, would you be interested in making a primaris imperial heralds (word bearers) model? You could literally do any legion that did a name change, it'd be cool either way!
I gotta say, the ball/rivet thing was a genius move. I did a loyalist nightlord and just did it with green stuff balls cut in half 😅
Sat here painting templars while I watch this, and I'm thinking this would be a great alternative, rules and all 🤔 maybe use different names for some of the rules etc though
I think of might be a good idea do use some kind of magnet(maybe screwdriver, should be enough, but it's just theory) to move these metal spheres, so you don't mess your fingers in glue
The space bears vs war hounds? I like it
We need more from both of y’all lol
I would love to see Primaris Alpha Legion they are my favourite of all
Awesomeness
Blood for The Emperor, skulls for the Twelfth!
Wow, white armour looks awesome. 👍
Thanks!
@@PeteTheWargamer Have you got a recipe please? Unless already covered in another video?
I’d love a painting guide for this guy.
I absolutely love the old war hounds look, seeing just more armies of red and brass gets kinda old
What size chain are you using? Great tutorial!
Heck yeah! War Hounds/World Eater !
I love it. What would loyalist DG look like? 🤔
Another great conversion! Simple but effective. What sizes are those chains? I've been looking for a decent scale for my Templars.
The worst part of primaris marines is how uniform they are, i absolutely love how you add the bonding studs and remove the chest insignia (i dont think its the aquila since its a skull instead of the double headed eagle)
Tasty , Thanks for sharing this 👍
Love the conversion, working on my own. What size chain was that used on the arm/weapon?
Hey, probably won't see this, but thanks for introducing me to liber daemonica that site's a lifesaver for someone starting a Carcharodon army like me.
You're welcome! Their Carcharodon parts are among their best in my opinion
The World Eaters are the best, before and after the Horus Heresy. They were essentially shunned for being too brutal. Randy Marsh: "I'm sorry, I thought this was Warhammer!?!?"
please do a episode of primaris son of horus! there is so many crazy and cool thing to try on the Cthonian!
Amazing work like always man :). Can you wrote which colors you use for armor and priming?
Have you done any Thousand sons conversions Pete? I was thinking of making some possed having horrors rip out of the armour panels and some havocs using the new havoc box and TS box
Can’t wait for the painting tutorial?
You should do dusk raiders next.
would doing an inverse version of this series be a good idea?(ie what if the loyalist legions had actually turned traitor?)
Awesome!! How about a loyalist Nightlord?
Why after watching hours of your conversions I've never seen you use a dremel work tool why not ?
I've never seen a single modeling video I didn't like your skills are amazing entertainment and educational programs thanks for your excellent programs. Bravo !
Honestly curious how a Primaris Iron Warrior would look.
Do loyalist alpha Legion I've always loved their colour scheme
Excellent work. Have you heard of the Death Eagles?
I have a question. What size chain do you use for the wrapping sound the wrists. I wanna try doing this by can’t find chain in a store, so online but I wanna know the size you used so I get the right thing
