Slowdive and My Bloody Valentine are shoegaze, it's just modern rock. TW does touch on topics that are common in grunge but I sure as fuck wouldn't call them grunge. Still a great band though I love all of their stuff.

@Taylor Holloway They aren't grunge, Stone Temple Pilots, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains andSoundgarden and list goes on for a bit those are actual grunge bands. TW is just alternative or modern rock.
