Hi, You have great taste! I was curious if you had to do it all over again and they were both available, would you pick the noir over the monogram? I am torn between the two since I am afraid of the monogram will be too much logo but the noir too understated? Which would you grab more with your outfits? I like that the noir looks so classy and comfy. Also every girl needs a good black bag. However the mono is classic bag and has something different then a standard black bag and I think it will add something to the outfit.

This bag is cute. For a while now, I have been debating on what Louis Vuitton to get for my collection since I have other designer bags in my closet. I'm personally a Damier or a Epi Leather type of gal, but the Empreinte works for me. The Monogram is too much for me.
Hi Gabie! I must say the Epi leather is also stunning. I have an Alma which is in Ephi and it looks very sophisticated. I agree that the Monogram canvas is not always the way to go as it is less of a classic for your closet in my opinion, but I would definitely recommend you to check the Empreinte when making a decision! You can get the mono preloved did you not want it preloved?
So to be honest I am kind of a germ-freak and I’ve had people around me have negative experiences with preloved bags due to it having a musky smell to it. This is why I was hesitant to try! Do you have any experience with buying preloved?
Dilara Bosak I won’t buy from just anywhere so I don’t score amazing “deals” usually. I only purchase pre-loved bags that have horrible resale value (eg fendi, Dior, Balenciaga) Lv I buy new for the reason you mentioned and because the price for pre-loved doesn’t justify.
I was just curious bc you said you wanted the mono pm but couldn’t find it. I scored one from LV website and though it’s a little finicky with the S lock I’m keeping it bc it’s such a unicorn. But it does bother me a bit. What are your thoughts about pm and quality issues,etc? Is it worth it?
Strap is 55 centimeters long? Do you mean drop length? Inches ? 55 centimeters is not very long, like 22 inches.
I checked on the US website what it would be in inches, and the maximum drop length is indeed 21.7 inches! So it’s not super long. On my instagram you can see how it looks on my height (@dilarabosak, I’m 5 ft 3). I always have it on its shortest! Hope it helps!
