As a kid, this took me something like 30 tries, nowadays I can do it first or second. But as a kid, this was like an ultimate accomplishment in life.
It’s the opposite for me. I could breeze through this as a kid. Now replaying it I want to throw my controller at the TV

The worst part is... the one and only time I beat him as a kid... my game crashed during the final cutscene, and I was so mad I never played it again.
I never even reached the Final Boss as Kid. I stucked in the Level after the Old Lady Boss Fight
1:24 Second person POV will forever be one of the most interesting camera angles in gaming
This post deserves more love. For a kids' game to do a second person perspective. I think I've maybe seen 1 other game, do it, and although this game was far from perfect, it was also very fun and probably had the better of the boss fights of this and bfbb.
Honestly, the original ape escape did it for it's final boss as well

@Lou-yf1jo idk about everything, but I mainly agree with you. I genuinely liked the neptune boss in this game. Also, Patrick's cartwheel made a fun traversal upgrade, too.

This game went hard. Forget about the fact that it's for kids, let's liberally use the word kill and make an incredibly difficult final boss with Scorpions playing.

I was curious if I was misremembering the difficulty of this boss after playing The Cosmic Shake's final boss. In comparison; this actually feels like a fair challenge rather than just letting the player essentially just jump around until they can press A to attack the boss three times. I like the Cosmic Shake for what it tries to be; but I'm crestfallen that it doesn't take more queues to the previous games designs like this one.
I never played but I watched both final bosses. Movie Game seems to have tight attacks that really want you to react in a fast but smart way, and phase 2 with those shockwave attacks seem to be the greatest example. Cosmic Shape's big letdown is the atmosphere and the attacks being just a joke. I praised the shockwave attacks for MG because those look like they take some effort to jump around, but in CS, you have lots of airtime, and I think you have a glide/hover move to extend it? I wish I actually played both games to back this comment up, so I'm doing this based on my best judgement, but MG takes the cake here.
This boss took me more tries than Isshin - The Sword Saint from Sekiro - Shadows Die Twice

I finally got to this part for my dad from my childhood I had this game and I got 50 goofy goober coins going over and getting 51 from the mission cheese to this mission the last one I thank God and some of these levels were frustrating I'm so happy to complete this game and put it on the shelf as a accomplishment the ring missions were annoying but easy but the time challenges with 3 laps was even harder especially 4:20 or 3:20 but I finally reached this level on this day Thursday April 25 three days ago i was back to back to get 50 goofy goober coins and I finally reached planktons Plan Z
