In this video we show you how to change/flip/invert the color of your motorcycle display, going from light to dark. This is a pretty simple procedure that improves the look of your display and motorcycle at a really low cost. This mod will work on any motorcycle that has an LCD display, we recommend checking that your display has a polarizer sheet as your top layer to be sure that this mod is compatible. In this video the flip kit is installed on Yamaha FZ-07/MT-07, and we have people who successfully installed this mod on FZ-10/MT-10, FZ-09/MT-09 and Suzuki SV650

You will end up having issue reading the display if you use polarised sunglasses. if you are planning to use polarising sunglasses make sure you wear it when you try to find the right angle
1:37 Sugestion. Use heat gun or hair dryer, to remove more easily.

It’s held on by one of the bolts that hold the dash. Go check you my quad lock video, look in the description I list all the parts I use to mount it like that
i just place the negative polarized film on top of lcd，can avoid bubble if no stick properly

The TFT display on my duke does that automatically when it gets dark.

Yeah I put the adhesive layer down and removed the protective film on top. Can barely see the display 🤷♂️

No, maybe only for the display but if you have an engine problem this has no effect on that. Just like your legally allowed to change your slip on & they still have to cover the motor under warranty. What you change has to have an actual effect on something for them to say they won’t cover a part. (In the USA)

It seems i have broke my screen on the mt07. It took me a while to get the glue off and i used the fingernail paint remover. It now only glows weirdly white even with the foil and its not the same brightness on the whole screen. Pls help

how can you no if it is a TFT Displays ? It is written on the display or ? And what happen if you install the anti-glare polarizer directly on the tope layer instead of taking off it ? Is it going to work anyway
In simple terms, in most cases if your display is just black and white its an LCD. TFT displays are colored such as 2020 BMW s1000rr display. If you install it on the top layer it wont work, you wont be able to see anything.
CAN I USE GOO GONE CLEANER PRODUCT TO CLEAN THE GLUE RESEDU ON THE SCREEN OR IT'S BETTER WHIT THE ALCOHOL . IF YOU DONT NO WHAT IS GO GONE . IT'S A LIQUIDE STUF WE USED TO CLEAN GUMY STOF LIKE CODE BAR STICKER WHEN YOU PEEL OFF THE STICKER

Hello! Is this polarizer thing also the reason why my display has gone invisible? Looks like it's burnt. Is this the thing I need to change?
I'm sure you've already had this one figured out by now. BUT if not, the polarizer is probably burnt like you think. A new polarizer film will fix it, but make sure the actual board behind the film with the LED's on it are working right. If it burned once, something probably shorted on the control board and it'll burn again. It's a common issue as these things age or if there's a leak somewhere that water got in. (old gameboys and such had this issue too)

Yeah the polarizer film gets sun damaged over time and is the reason I ordered this film. My 2005 ZX6RR gauge cluster film is severely sun damaged to the point where I can no longer read it clearly during the day. I also changed out my cluster lights to be fully custom and along with a custom faceplate. She’s going to look so good here soon.

please, for the love of all the MT-07's out there. slow motion the video at 2:36 to x0.25 and let it go slowly till 2:38. On the right side of the "ECO" light there are 2 lights that NEVER light up (!) not even during the check when you turn the key. I saw this once on my MT but could never "replicate" as it was under direct sunlight and people called me crazy :v but there you can see that there are 2 "lights" that seem like a Gear with a dash inside " - " and a gear that seems to have an arrow down. what the acual F is this?! IM CURIOUS!!!

@@ZenZooZoo it is not, sadly. as I said, they do not even light up when you turn the key and the whole dash comes on. and I've without a doubt had the bike on really low revs and those never came on. But the curiosity is killing me :D
