- Such a buzz landing these fish with the turtle , it’s always hard when you’ve got a limited window of time but thank god we got a bit lucky ....I love these fish so much but you definitely froth a bit harder when you got a friend to share it with...was so good to tick the hawksbury of his bucket list along with boating a few sliver slabs ! Lovely gentle handling of these 10-15 year old fish...just wonderful to watch. As a seasoned angler of some 40 years....makes me swell with pride that these keen anglers are so respectful of this majestic and iconic Hawksbury River fish. Classic, copybook release. Well done.

Well done boys. I was starting to get a bit nancy when the fish didn't look like it would recover. So many U Tube fishing cowboys kill Jewies with their out of water carry on and rough handling. You pair make for a good team. Cheers

Was catching fish to 36kg at middlegrounds juno on the Cocklebeds 20 years ago.
And old mates were catching them there 50 years before me.
So dont think there is something new here.... Bobby is a one spot wonder. He knows bugger all about the river.
