Order up some from boom racings website went with the same route you did and ordered everything individually went with barrels gold face lgbs extra wide width
Doing an element based GSpeed build that Id like to make class 2 legal. How do I pick the best back spacing and is it only the clear option that’s not comp legal? Also hoping to do a VS4-10 Phoenix Portal next. What options do I have to pick so the wheels are Vanquish compatible?
@@TRDAdventures is it just the faceplate you need to order in the 6 lug for the wheels to be compatible with a VS4-10? Kinda want to get two sets of wheels to try out different tires, have varying compounds as I learn what works best for this rig. Plus hoping to get a Phoenix Portal next, so would be nice to pick something that’ll work with that.
very nice and informative videos - well done, keep it up! question 1: you do not run wheel weight? question 2: what about venting your wheels please? thanks!
No I do not run wheel weights, rare or temporary occasions I will run. Beef patter with the hub. And I don’t vent wheels, I vent tires if it is on my comp rigs.
It differs between the halo foam weight rating, the inner cell is significantly thinner, and this allows the putter down to wrap around it and keeps them from sliding.
Quick question: does the total width of the rim change when you place the faceplate between the barrels as opposed to in- or outside both? I can imagine the width of the inner ring should change aswel then.
Thanks for the shout-out. I think we have the most stocked inventory of Probuild wheels and accessories.
Oh for dang sure. And fast shipping too
I really wanted vanquish wheels, but those give so much options. I'm sold.

Did you order direct from Boom? How long does it take to get a set?
I order from Dixieland RC takes a couple days. One of my local guys ordered directly from Boom, and it took 3-4 weeks

Whatever you like best and still fits in the class 2 guidelines and currently yes clear is not legal.

What would you suggest for tyres on colder and wetter conditions?
Klr or klr/m in red compound or proline BFG km3 or krawlers in predator compound would prolly do fine
Very interested in these foams. What's the width of the Halo inner foam and outer foam, respectively?

I did this once to try and it did not work well, there wasn’t enough clamp force on the barrels and allowed the tire to spin
