Great to see Gnonto in form! Summerville scoring agian, but more importantly, assisting as well! Rutter finally hitting the net! And Gruev proving he can do more than just defend! Superb.
Summerville & Gnonto been mega for us so far, hopefully the start of something iconic if we can keep ahold of them

The Rutter Summerville combination is lethal. I think Gnonto will be feeling a whole lot better now as well. That's a class goal. Also glad to see Rutter score because he will be lethal once his scoring confidence is where it needs to be. Summerville needed that one as well. I just hope that the two matches & extra time don't interfere with our league efforts. But Southampton are still in it as well & had to do a replay. Hopefully this is just a confidence booster all said and done. No injuries, please. The early Mateo Joseph effort was omitted here, but was a sign of real class. My bet is that it will be Villa over Chelsea. Just when you might not honestly want a cup run!

@@josephrobert194 Ah ha! What a stunner. I was truly blown away. It did seem like Villa never really showed up, but Chelsea were lethal. So the prediction was completely wrong. I'm still tempted to think that Villa are far more interested in their EPL adventure. Chelsea are out of that, but a cup victory would salvage much for them. What do you think? I just hope our cup run doesn't cost us in any way. That Chelsea game will be hellfire!
One of the best games I have watched in a while, concidering the conditions both teams were fantastic. The referee had a great game and let the game flow and only intervened on real fouls. Just shows that without the scurge of Var real football can take place. Leeds were worthy winners , but Plymouth Argyle can hold their heads high and just ran out of steam near the end .

we drained ourselves completely so that we can drain ourselves again and lose 4-0 to Chelsea. this was a waste of energy better used in the Championship.

You don't sack a manager that gets you third spot. Same thing happened to Bielsa. He got us promoted the year after. Both of them took over a team in shambles.
