Sir first we multiple 2 on eq 1 and than we add them it gives x=7/5 and y=14/5 and we divide them x/y=2 is answer sir its wrong or ture 🤔

Name both equation
X+3y=7-----eq 1
2x+y=5------eq 2
From 2: find value of
y=5-2x-----eq 3
Put y in eq 1:
We get:
x+3(5-2x)=7
x+15-6x=7
x-6x=7-15
-5x=-8
x=8\5
NOW put put x in any one of the above equations such as we consider ep 2:
2(8/5)+y=5
16/5 +y=5
y=5-16/5. :taking LCM
y=25-16/5
y=9/5
Now for the given condition x/y
Simply putting values of x and y
We get:
8/5|9/5
8/5 *5/9. Both 5 cancelled
Then the answer is 8/9.
