It's super annoying when main broadcaster keeps announcing how great her score is, when obviously people who have higher scores would watch this videom

There's a reason doctors don't routinely give people a CT scan. All by itself it does not give you reliable evidence of an individuals cardiovascular disease risk. A 0 score doesn't mean you don't have plaque build up. It just means you are relatively young. You can also have a lot of calcium but not a lot of blockage. It just means you are old. You don't need a CT score to figure out if you are old. Maybe when combined with other tests and observations it can be helpful which is what this video is basically saying.

Cholesterol is not the major cause of plaque buildup because the body produces more than what we actually consume, ie: then everyone should have chronic problems. Over-consumption of sugar and carbs are the major problem that raises blood sugar, therefore, spiking insulin which is the real cause of the plaque buildup.

Cause of soft plaque is insulin resistance. Correct and cure insulin resistance and remove soft plaque

    Help!!
I’ve recently had a Calcium Score test and the result was 103.
The Cardiologist (without knowing my Triglycerides and Apo B levels) strongly advised starting statins.
I’m a 67 year old male of Indian origin. I’m slim and muscular (body fat 10%) and have been exercising most days since I was 19).
I alternate strength training with HIIT. My blood pressure is 105/65.
My HDL is 2.11. My Apolipoprotein b is 91.
    My Triglycerides is 0.51.
I’m generally very healthy and have a good, varied diet.
Any advice on whether to start taking statins would be much appreciated.

no necessary, depends on how old you are and your current diet, take d3 and k2 to help, calcified plaque is stable, the soft plaque is not , inflamation and insulin are the problem get a cimt test if you can find one to tell you about the soft plaque., There is a mra test form of mri to see the soft plaque, z safer than a ct cat test

Most important thing is ApoB. That is what one needs to get a handle on. Not downplaying but most other stuff is noise.

@@RG-hf4et google it. The best single test for arterial potential blockages. Plaque. Calcium, cholesterol. Think drywall as the wall of an artery. You get a gouge in the drywall. You hit it with drywall mud. Same with arteries. Mist anything foreign cavse wall scaring. Normal bodily process is patch the scaring. Cholesterol, calcium, put simply.
